Our holiday apartment "Zeit-Los" is a cozy, modernly furnished apartment for two people on the southern edge of Wyk. We completely modernized the apartment in 2018 and have continuously maintained it since then, so that you can really feel comfortable here. The quiet apartment is located on the second floor of the Matthias-Petersen-Haus and can be easily reached by elevator. The beach can be reached with a leisurely 10-15 minute walk, and the excellent bakery for breakfast rolls is about 400 meters away.
You can park your car in the parking lot in front of the house, and there are plenty of places to park bicycles on the property. Our apartment has an almost secluded, spacious balcony where you can enjoy your breakfast in peace, for example. Even if the weather should be bad at times, our apartment is a comfortable place to stay.
We have a well-stocked bookshelf with current books, of course Wi-Fi, and a smart TV on which you can use not only the media libraries but also your own streaming services; naturally, there is also a radio (with Bluetooth) and a DVD player.
The fitness room, including treadmill, cross trainer, and exercise bike, as well as the table tennis room in the basement, invite you to be active. For a fee, you will also find a washing machine and dryer here, as well as a sauna that you can reserve for your personal use.

Location and surroundings of object

The apartment is located in the main town of the island, Wyk, in a very quiet area in the Matthias-Petersen-Haus near the South Beach.
The beach can be reached in 10-15 minutes on foot. Also very close by is a forest area, which is excellent for walking and jogging.
A bus stop is very close by (approx. 100 meters) at Fehrstieg. The next bike rental (Föhrrad) is only 500 meters away; the island can be wonderfully explored by bike, and there are various well-marked routes.
Don’t miss taking an extensive mudflat hike, where you can discover a variety of creatures that exist only in the Wadden Sea! Guided hikes through the Wadden Sea to the neighboring island of Amrum are also offered and are a unique experience. Depending on the season, you can also practice or learn a variety of water sports, e.g. kitesurfing, windsurfing, SUP.

Very close to our apartment is one of the most beautiful golf courses in northern Germany (27 holes).

Especially in summer, you can experience a variety of events with live music for almost every taste.

We ourselves have loved the island of Föhr for many years and have spent numerous vacations here alone or with our now grown children. Thus, it was a stroke of luck for us that we were able to buy this apartment in 2017 and completely renovate it.
