Downstairs there is a 20 sqm living/dining room with a cozy couch and armchairs, a flat screen TV, a very spacious wardrobe, and a dining area.
In the basement, there is also a separate kitchen and a separate bathroom with toilet and shower.
Upstairs are two bedrooms, one room has two single beds, the other has a double bed and a single bed or four single beds (cabin 47 for six people). We have three Finnish cabins, all similarly furnished and equipped.
A terrace with a beach chair, garden table and chairs, a garden, and a parking space are available.
Please let us know if you would like the Finnish cabin with the double bed or Wi-Fi, or if you need a baby cot and a high chair. The staircase to the upper floor is relatively steep.

Location and surroundings of object

The thatched-roof Finnish hut (A-shaped house) is located in the picturesque landscape of Mönchgut, in the middle of the Southeast Rügen Biosphere Reserve. It is part of a Finnish hut settlement, which is surrounded by forest, meadows, and reeds in a sparse construction directly behind the dike. It is only 300 meters to the wide, stoneless sandy beach, 400 meters to the Greifswalder Bodden, and 600 meters to the Bakenberg, the highest elevation of Southeast Rügen. Even without a car, it is possible to take good hikes (250 meters to the bicycle rental). The area is ideal for cyclists. Two kite and windsurfing schools are located in Thiessow (2.5km).
It's only 200m to the nearest restaurant "uns Deichstuv" and 1500m to the port of Gager. There is a smoking ban throughout the holiday cottage complex (thatched roofs).
