Enjoy our spacious holiday home with a panoramic view of the Baltic Sea - the secluded location amid meadows and fields is unique!
Originally an old milking house from the 1920s, the building has been fundamentally renovated and expanded. It has a living space of about 140 m² and accommodates 6 adults and 2 children (bunk beds). You will find: on the ground floor a large living room with a seating area and dining area for 8 people, as well as access to the west terrace, kitchen with a small dining table for 5 people and exit to the north terrace, entrance hall, bedroom with a single bed and piano, shower room with WC, utility room. On the top floor: bedroom with a double bed, bedroom with a single bed and bunk bed, bedroom with two single beds, bathroom with shower, bathtub, and WC. Facilities:
Kitchen: Ceramic hob, oven, refrigerator, dishwasher, coffee machine, toaster
TV-Sat, DVD, stereo system, Wi-Fi
Non-smoking, pets allowed by arrangement

The holiday home is located on the outskirts of the old village of Gintoft, today a part of Steinbergkirche/Ostsee.
The village consists of several farmsteads and individual houses scattered among fields and hedgerows. The landscape has the typical slight hilly shape of Angeln, formed by the terminal moraines of the last ice age.
In the area, one can enjoy cycling, running, and simply being outdoors in nature. The natural swimming beaches of Geltinger Bucht and the Norgaardholz seaside resort are about 2.5 km away, and the perfect fine sandy beach on the open sea is about 14 km away.
The region offers many excursion destinations, such as the Schlei with Kappeln and the smallest city in Germany, Arnis, Schleswig (cathedral, Gottorf Castle with state museum, Viking Haithabu), Glücksburg, Flensburg old town with harbor, museums, music festivals.
Also sports, like sailing, horse riding, tennis, golf. Shopping options in Steinbergkirche (EDEKA, ALDI, drugstore, gas station).

I live and work with my family in Hamburg. We like to spend our vacations/weekends, as far as our time allows, in the Gintoft holiday home - far away from the urban jungle! Our three children love the house and nature! The view up to Denmark is fantastic. Here, we can let our soul dangle and immediately distance ourselves from our work and the big city. The children enjoy the freedom in nature (playing, cycling...). The house is surrounded by meadows and fields. The last 50m approach is via a dirt road. Here the vacation already begins. . . .
