Discover the ultimate holiday experience in our holiday flat "Jenseits der Hast" in Rathenow. Our accommodation offers space for up to 7 guests in a spacious living area of 125 square metres, spread over 3 bedrooms and 1 bathroom.
The flat is rich in natural wood accents that create a warm and inviting atmosphere. The living area is equipped with comfortable furniture and a TV, ideal for relaxing after a long day of adventures. The high-quality kitchen is equipped with all the modern conveniences you need to prepare delicious meals, including a dishwasher, microwave, kettle and coffee machine.
Outside, you can enjoy the fresh air on the terrace while you prepare a delicious barbecue on the grill. A car park is available for your vehicles. After a day full of activities, you can relax in the in-house sauna and relieve the stress of the day.
We have provided a cot and high chair for our younger guests. The entire flat is equipped with free Wi-Fi, so you can always stay connected. A hairdryer is also available and for longer stays the flat is also available for long term rentals.
The surroundings of the holiday flat are equally impressive. It is surrounded by lush greenery and flowering plants, creating a sense of calm and relaxation. For those who want to explore the surroundings, we offer bicycles. The Havel cycle path is in the immediate vicinity. The Havel (river) is only 50m from the holiday flat. A bathing area and bivouac site are 100 metres away.

Location and surroundings of object
Rathenow is a town in Havelland (Brandenburg), known for its spectacle production. The holiday flat is located in the district of Grütz 7 km north of Rathenow directly on the Havel. Places such as Brandenburg, Potsdam, Tangermünde, Havelberg and Neustadt/Dosse (famous horse stud) are within a radius of approx. 60 km. Church services, concerts and events take place in Havelberg Cathedral. The imperial and Hanseatic town of Tangermünde lies on the River Elbe and can look back on 1000 years of history. Discover the sky at night and enjoy nature during the day in the Westhavelland Nature Park. In the village of Gülpe in particular, "stargazers" are out and about at night. Birdwatchers can observe various bird species at Lake Gülpe. From April to the end of May, bird enthusiasts can watch the spectacular courtship display of the great bustard. The "Nadelwehr Grütz" can be admired directly in Grütz. There is also the opportunity to observe sea eagles and herons nearby.

Perfect nature holiday
This accommodation was perfect and (just as described) "beyond haste," we really enjoyed our time as a couple. The holiday apartment is spacious, flawlessly equipped, and beautifully located by the Havel. The garden is a wonderful oasis. Ms. Michaelis was very friendly and helpful, everything was very pleasant. There is even a sauna in the holiday apartment, which could be used. One can stroll through the surrounding fields/nature area along the Havel in both directions (the wind through the grass is beautiful) or even ride a bicycle along the Havel cycle path, as the path passes right by the house.
We wanted to find a completely secluded place in the beautiful nature that we could reach without a car or bicycle, and we succeeded, as it is at the end of bus line 673. The bus runs 4 times a day back and forth to the main train station in Rathenow (20 minutes). On weekends and during vacation, you need to inform the call bus in advance by phone. The other side of the Havel can only be reached via the bridge in Rathenow or further north. We wanted to look at the stars on site, as the vacation apartment is located in the middle of the Westhavelland Star Park. Mrs. Michaelis even provided us with deck chairs on the balcony for this, but the light in the village was a bit too bright for it. However, you just have to walk five minutes into the surrounding fields. Overall, highly recommended; it was a lovely holiday.
