The chalet is built in the traditional chalet style (log construction), built in 1950.
The traditional furniture is very solid, functional, and in well-maintained condition. in the summer: large private garden with seating area, 8.5 x 4m outdoor pool for private use (operational: June 8 - September 13, heated 21-22C), lawn, garden pavilion, mature trees, wooden well.

Beautiful, unobstructed view from the chalet of mountains and valley. Close to the center: 10 minutes on foot to Grindelwald train station and town center, 10 minutes on foot to the valley station of the First cable car.
Quiet location away from the main road. Access to the chalet by car for loading/unloading outside of ski season. Public parking outside the ski season at Terrassenweg, approx. 300m away and year-round at 500m distance (Eiger/Sportzentrum-Parking), (both not included in the rental price).

Car: either Bern-Interlaken-Grindelwald or Lucerne-Interlaken-Grindelwald
A car is unnecessary for this chalet since excellent public transportation is nearby. Grindelwald has a very good local bus network. Airplane: Zurich Airport, from there direct trains to Interlaken
Please note that Grindelwald Tourism collects a tourist tax from all guests. This is included in the rental price and is paid by us. As a result, you benefit from various discounts in Grindelwald (including free ski/local bus, sports center)

A major advantage of this chalet is its location in the middle of the 6,000 sqm ski school area, whose snow reliability is ensured by "snow cannons". Additionally, the slope is lit on Wednesday and Friday evenings for "night skiing".
The ski school is 250m away in the winter (near Hotel Bodmi). If your children are skiing freely on the practice slope of the ski lift, you can comfortably watch them from the balcony. The ski school regularly organizes slalom races for children, with the finish line located right next to our garden gate. Toddlers from the age of 3 years are taken care of during the day in the "Snowli Club," including lunch, without you needing to be there. . . .
