Description

Welcome to Karin and Werner Merten's Walsumermark holiday flat. This charming accommodation offers space for up to two guests on 90 square metres of living space and has one bedroom and one bathroom.

The holiday flat is equipped with a kitchenette that offers all the amenities for a pleasant stay. A dishwasher, microwave and coffee machine are available so that you can prepare your meals with ease. The kitchen is equipped with high-quality furniture and offers plenty of storage space.

The cosy bedroom is lovingly furnished and offers a peaceful atmosphere in which to relax. Bed linen is provided and the bathroom is equipped with a hairdryer.

The living area has a TV and comfortable furniture that invites you to relax. The large windows let in plenty of natural light and offer a beautiful view of the surrounding countryside. The flat is furnished with high-quality wooden furniture and ceramic flooring, creating a warm and inviting ambience.

The holiday flat is surrounded by a beautiful garden that invites you to relax and enjoy nature. Here you can enjoy the peace and beauty of the rural surroundings.

Long-term rentals are possible and the flat is reserved for non-smokers.

Super great vacation apartment

The holiday apartment of the Merten family is great. Very lovingly furnished. Very clean. You have everything you need in the household. We felt very comfortable. Then also the beautiful balconies, one in the bedroom and then the large one from the living room, with a view of the beautifully landscaped garden. We will definitely vacation there again.

Very nice vacation apartment

The apartment was super beautiful and spacious. The furnishings were also very nice and there was truly a cozy feeling. The kitchen was perfect. It had everything one might want to use. The beds were also very comfortable. Mr. and Mrs. Merten are super friendly. We would gladly come back again.

Wintervakantie

Een zeer hartelijke ontvangst, waarbij de lieve mevrouw Merten ons trakteerde op koffie met koekjes. De vakantiewoning overtreft alles. Zeer luxe, smaakvol, ruim, modern en schoon en heeft alle voorzieningen die je thuis ook gewend bent. De woning is gelegen in het noorden van Oberhausen (3 km vanaf de snelweg) in een rustige wijk en omgeven door een bosrijk gebied (Hersfelder-, Köllnischer- en Dterkraderwald).
We hadden de woning gekozen om van de kerstsfeer in Duitsland te genieten en het was direct raak. In de mooi aangelegde tuin en op de beide balkons kerstversieringen met lichtjes. En in de zelfde straat (Walsumermarkstraße 134) een Weihnachtshaus die 's avonds gratis te bezoeken is met gratis Glühwein, sneeuwkanon etc. Ongelooflijk, kijk maar eens op internet. Natuurlijk geeft iedereen een gift, waarbij de opbrengst naar goede doelen gaat.
In december is Oberhausen vooral aan te bevelen om het grootste overdekte winkelcentrum van Europa en de direct daaraan gelegen zeer grote kerstmarkt te bezoeken alsmede de hoogste Gasometer van Europa (117,5 meter) met zee tentoonstelling. Verder zijn de kerstmarkten aan te bevelen in Essen en Duisburg beide op 23 km afstand.
Het is de mooiste vakantiewoning die we ooit gehuurd hebben, die we iedereen kunnen aanbevelen! Heel erg bedankt voor alles, mevrouw en heer Merten.

untoppable, 1000% recommendation

In advance: we lived for over 50 or 70 years in the northern part of Oberhausen, in the districts of Königshardt/Schmachtendorf, and moved to Oberallgäu six years ago. Since this move, we have been visiting our relatives and friends in Oberhausen 2-3 times a year and renting a vacation apartment for that purpose (so far 6 different addresses, all within a radius of 3-4 km from our former residence). Now, for the first time, we were at the Merten family's house (also approximately 4 km away). All our expectations (which, judging by the pictures, were high) were exceeded. We found a well-maintained property, a large apartment equipped with all comforts and technology, 2 balconies facing south and north. The south balcony overlooks a beautifully landscaped garden. The rental price is very reasonable considering the location and amenities. To the Merten family: lovely caretakers. We will definitely return to maintain our friendship. And more. Super beautiful holiday apartment in a great location.

We were very satisfied with the holiday apartment and the service in Walsumermarkstraße. The location was ideal for quickly enjoying nature or the city. With the bicycle, all cycling paths and excursion destinations could be reached in a short time without having to deal with car traffic.
We felt very comfortable in the spacious apartment and the tasteful ambiance. The hosts, Mr. and Mrs. Merten, were extremely friendly and accommodating. We will definitely visit again.
