Cozy, renovated in 2024 large non-smoking house in a quiet location in the middle of the heritage-protected old town of Bad Arolsen - Landau with good bus connection to Bad Arolsen or Wolfhagen (weekdays). The house was built around 1900 in half-timbered construction, later this was clad and an extension with kitchen was added.
Approximately 120m² for 1-5 people plus 1 baby bed. High chair, baby bath, changing mat available. A 6th person can be accommodated by arrangement. On the ground floor there is: hallway, bathroom with toilet/shower, large living room with TV, new kitchen with a dining set for 6 people, single bedroom. From the kitchen, you can go directly outside to the garden/on the terrace.

Upstairs: 1 large bedroom with double bed, 1 additional room with 2 single beds, 1 bathroom with toilet/tub, 1 small play/recreation room, stair gate.

One parking space is available next to the house and in front of the house. The small garage offers space for e-bikes, bicycles, strollers, motorcycles, or a small car.
In the garden, there is a table and chairs, 2 sun loungers, a sandshell, and a small grill available.
A washing machine is available for an additional fee of €50.

In the village, a bread roll service is offered, where you can order bread rolls and have them delivered in the morning. Other shops are located about 9km away in Bad Arolsen.

Location and surroundings of object

Bad Arolsen is a charming town in Hesse, Germany, known for its Baroque castle. The protected district of Landau, which has town rights, is 9 km away. In the town, among other things, many half-timbered houses, the Crooked House, the church, the old Count's Castle, and the Waterworks are worth seeing. Every 4 years, a historical shooting festival takes place, which is well known beyond the borders. Landau has an outdoor pool, and Twistesee is 3 km away. Sunbathing lawns, a beach resort, a water skiing facility, a 7km circular trail for walking or cycling, or an adventure golf course invite you to linger. Approximately 20 minutes away by car is one of Germany's largest reservoirs - the Edersee, and about 30 minutes away is the Diemelsee. Those seeking thrills can take a trip to the Skywalk in Willingen, the longest pedestrian suspension bridge in Germany and the second longest in the world (as of 2023). Furthermore, Kassel with the Bergpark, the water features, and the Hercules is not far away or the Sababurg zoo is always worth a visit.
