Vacation Apartment A
The spacious (approx. 85 m²) ground floor apartment accommodates up to 5 people and is equipped with 3 bedrooms (1 double bed, 2 single beds, 1 single bed - a crib and high chair are available), a bathroom with shower, bathtub, toilet and a separate guest toilet in the hallway. Living room with access to its own terrace and a separate kitchen (4 burner stove, oven, microwave, coffee maker, toaster, egg cooker, complete tea set incl. warmer). Vacation Apartment A comes with its own garage and parking space.
It is fully equipped with a kitchen, living room, and bathroom with toilet, bathtub, and shower. Of course, it includes a flat-screen TV, radio, free WiFi, and a telephone (free calls to German landlines/mobiles). Parking spaces and storage for bicycles are available at the property. Shopping facilities and a restaurant are located in the immediate vicinity. Our house is located in a quiet residential area, right on the Ostfriesland trail, close to the Schafhauser forest. The beach in Bensersiel (about 8 minutes by car) can be easily reached by bike via the Ostfriesland trail.

The surrounding area, such as the historic town center of Esens or places like Bensersiel, Werdum, and Neuharlingersiel, can be easily explored on foot or by bicycle:
The seaside resort Bensersiel offers beach chair rentals, an adventure playground right by the beach, an 80-meter waterslide, surfing wave, "Kunterbunt" children's playhouse, Takka-Tukka Land, and the North Sea spa Sonneninsel (indoor bathing landscape with log cabin and steam bath sauna). A maritime sports theme park and an inline skating facility challenge you to become active.
Neuharlingersiel, the most beautiful fishing harbor on the North Sea coast, has been hosting the traditional "Neuharlingersiel Crab Cutter Regatta" for over 30 years. Guests are welcome on the colorfully decorated cutters. In addition to a wide range of children's attractions and water play equipment on the beach, there is also a 30°C heated sea water indoor pool with various sauna areas available all year round. How about a visit to one of the East Frisian Islands Langeoog, Wangerooge, or Spiekeroog. Multiple ferry connections a day make your island visit a unique experience. Or perhaps you would prefer to go to the high-sea island of Helgoland?
Werdum is situated amidst green fields and meadows. With a pet park featuring rare animal breeds from all over the world, a medicinal garden, equipment exhibition, and explanatory panels, it is always worth a detour. Do you know the Peacock Goat, the Lippe Goose, the Hissar Sheep, the Miniature Donkey, the Turkey, or the Poitou Giant Donkey? Try a "Watt'n-Bier" from the Küstenbrauerei in Werdum.
Bicycles can be rented upon request from the local bicycle rental shop on your day of arrival and will be available at the apartment for your convenience. Whether long walks along the dike or through the towns, extensive bike rides in the midst of the idyllic landscape or right along the sea dike, the region offers everyone their individual vacation fun. Whether a sporty extensive experience or just a beach holiday in a beach chair amidst your own sandcastle. Enjoy the uniquely beautiful natural landscape of East Frisia at any time of the year. There are also interesting things to discover in the wider surroundings such as Aurich, Wittmund, Emden, Norden, Jever, or Wilhelmshaven.

Rights and Duties Guest Admission Contract: 1. The guest admission contract is established as soon as the vacation apartment is ordered and confirmed. 2. The conclusion of the guest admission contract obligates the contracting parties to fulfill the contract, regardless of its duration. 3. The landlord is obliged to compensate the guest if the apartment is not provided. 4. The guest is obligated to pay the agreed or customary price for not utilizing the contractual services, minus the expenses saved by the landlord. Experience shows that savings amount to 20% of the accommodation price for overnight stays. 5. The landlord is obliged, in good faith, to attempt to re-let unutilized apartments to avoid losses. Until re-letting, the guest is responsible for paying the amount calculated according to clause 4 for the duration of the contract. 6. Apartment prices include the use of rented and public facilities of the accommodation business. Service charges and VAT are included, provided there is a VAT liability. Cancellations should be made early in writing via email, post, or fax to allow for re-leasing. The rental unit (vacation apartment/garden) may only be used by the number of persons confirmed in the rental agreement (day/night). Persons not previously registered must be reported to us immediately before their stay or overnight stay. After our approval, we will charge 10 € per person per night for previously unregistered persons. The apartment will be available from 2 pm on the day of arrival and must be vacated by 10 am on the day of departure. Bed linen and towels Bed linen is provided for stays of 4 nights or more; guests should bring their own towels for the bathroom and kitchen. Tourist tax The tourist tax is calculated separately on-site. In Holiday Home 1 (Apartments A and B) in Esens, there is a tourist tax obligation.
