At about 300 m is the beach with a beach restaurant offering a fantastic view of the global shipping route to Hamburg, where approximately 30,000 ships pass by Cuxhaven annually, so there is always something to watch. Mighty container ships, quaint crab cutters, impressive sailing ships, and luxurious cruise ships seem within reach.
For children, everything is available on the beach, from paddling pools to swings and sandboxes. Sports activities were also considered. A small football field and a volleyball court complete the offerings.
It is about 800 meters to the quaint village of Altenbruch, which has more restaurants and shopping facilities. Here in Cuxhaven Altenbruch, we are located on the very popular Elbe Cycle Path, a paradise for cyclists. In Cuxhaven on the North Sea, you can enjoy a maritime atmosphere and nature. You can reach us via the BAB 27 or the B73; from here it is 10 minutes to the beach.
