Discover the charming holiday home Onkel Toms Hütte in Scharendijke, Zeeland, and enjoy an unforgettable vacation in an idyllic setting.
This cozy mobile home offers 35 square meters of space for up to 4 guests and features two inviting bedrooms. The bathroom is simple but functional – with a shower and a washbasin. Especially practical on vacation: the toilet is located in a separate room. For families with small children, there is also a fold-down child’s toilet seat – and the high entry edge of the shower can be wonderfully used as a “mini-bathtub” for the little ones.
The compact kitchenette is fully equipped with dishwasher, microwave, gas stove, kettle, and coffee machine – ideal for uncomplicated cooking together even on vacation. The living room with TV and cozy sitting area invites you to relax in the evenings. A crib and a high chair are available for the little ones.
A special highlight is the fully fenced garden – perfect for families with small children or a dog. On the sheltered terrace you can sit comfortably until the evening hours, and a grill is available for culinary summer evenings.
A private parking space directly at the house provides additional convenience. WLAN, an iron, and a hairdryer are also available to make your stay as pleasant as possible. Please note that this is a non-smoking accommodation.
For small excursions, two women’s bicycles, a folding bike, and several children’s bicycles are available for your use free of charge. Use is at your own risk – we assume no liability for roadworthiness or readiness to ride, as these are privately provided bicycles offered free of charge.
Tip: If you want to be on the safe side or are planning longer bike tours, you are welcome to bring your own bicycles or rent one directly at the De Strandloper campsite – there is an official bike rental there with various models. Experience the tranquility and charm of Zeeland in Uncle Tom's Cabin – your ideal retreat for relaxing days by the sea.

Our accommodation is ideally located – between the North Sea, Grevelingen Lake, and many charming places in Zeeland.
The mobile home is situated on the well-kept and popular campsite “De Strandloper” in Scharendijke, only about 500 m from the beach. Whether you want to spend a relaxing day by the sea, take a walk at Brouwersdam, or stroll through nearby Renesse – everything is within easy reach here. The center of Scharendijke with restaurants, supermarket, and bakery is also within easy walking distance.

The campsite "De Strandloper" is a family-friendly holiday park with a pleasant atmosphere and well-kept grounds.
The site is quietly located on the edge of Scharendijke – only a few minutes' walk from the North Sea beach and the Grevelingen Lake.
Ideal for all who love the beach, nature, and water sports.
Water sports fans in particular will get their money's worth here: the nearby Brouwersdam is a popular meeting point for kite surfers, windsurfers, sailors, and stand-up paddlers. With shallow water on the Grevelingen side and waves on the North Sea side, there is something for every level – from beginner to pro. The region is also the venue for various water sports events and festivals.
For children, there is a small playground as well as a multifunctional playing field. In the high season, occasional children's entertainment provides additional variety. If you want to explore the surroundings, you can rent bicycles directly at the site – perfect for spontaneous trips through the wide polder landscapes of Zeeland.
The pitches are well laid out and separated from each other by natural boundaries – so every guest has their own retreat. Dogs are allowed on the site, which is especially pleasing for animal-loving families. In short: De Strandloper combines tranquility, proximity to the beach, and family-friendliness – an ideal place for couples, families with children, dog owners, and active people who love wind and water.
