It features a living room with an integrated kitchen, dining area, electric stove, ceramic cooktops, fridge with freezer compartment, dishwasher, coffee maker, toaster, and kettle, as well as a sofa bed, radio, TV, fast WLAN, private carport, private entrance, with exit to the terrace. Lake access. Swimming spot approx. 70 m away.

Quiet location with plenty of clean air, no street noise – the lake is right outside your door.
The village of Carlow is 2 km away. Here you will find a shopping opportunity, doctors’ offices, and a dental practice. The small town of Rehna with shops and a medieval monastery is 10 km away.
Lübeck, Ratzeburg, and Schwerin can be reached in a short time, the distance to the Baltic Sea beach is approx. 30 km, travel time there is about 30 minutes. Choose between nearby beach sections free of tourist tax and well-known Baltic Sea resorts such as Travemünde, Scharbeutz (OSTSEE-THERME), Timmendorfer Strand, or Boltenhagen.
Tip: Visit the Tiger Park in Dassow, the zoo in Schwerin, or enjoy a cultural experience at the Mecklenburg State Theatre, also in Schwerin!
A paradise for nature lovers!
Direct proximity to meadows, forests, and the Kuhlrader Moor, resulting in a uniquely rich animal and plant world. You will find a variety of rare plants and herbs. The edges of the moor are characterized by a fringe of carr woodland with black alder and moor birch. Lake Röggelin is home to one of the largest breeding populations of the greylag goose. You can experience the flight of the sea eagle, see cranes, herons, waterfowl, and with a bit of luck, the kingfisher. Observe the wildlife from your terrace as the sun sets.
You can obtain a fishing permit from the fishing club in Klocksdorf. You fish from the jetty or rent a club rowing boat.
The Schaalsee Biosphere Reserve and the Lauenburg Lakes Nature Park invite you to extensive cycling tours and hikes with a variety of opportunities for exploration and swimming. Corresponding maps can be found in the holiday apartment.

Insider tip for dream vacation
We were able to enjoy the ideal mix of peace and relaxation on one hand and leisure activities for body and mind on the other during our vacation here.
The apartment is very well-kept and cozy, yet practical in its furnishings. It has everything one needs to live and feel comfortable and offers enough space for 2 people. From the living room/kitchen, you can reach the sunny terrace with a large garden area with plenty of grass. Here we had breakfast, grilled, sunbathed, chilled, played, read, exercised . . . and of course, enjoyed the view of Lake Röggeliner again and again.
You can reach it through the garden gate in just a few steps. We could swim at any time; the water is wonderfully clear. There is a large shore meadow with trees at the edge, but right by the water, there is also a sandy beach, a fishing pier, and benches and loungers. Here, there is also a circular path around the lake, which we often frequented.
The hosts are very friendly and generous and are there to help with advice and assistance.
The surroundings are breathtakingly beautiful. This is because it is located in and near a natural paradise, the Schaalsee Biosphere Reserve. We were able to observe many different animals, especially birds, and plants. The sunsets are unique. And there is a tranquility that allows one to completely relax. The area is also characterized by many lakes and forests and long avenues. There are cycling and hiking trails for every taste. Water sports enthusiasts also get their money's worth. Larger cities like Schwerin or Lübeck offer many different cultural and recreational opportunities. We drove between 30 and 60 minutes. We needed about 30 minutes to the Baltic Sea and also to the highway. In the next small town, we could get everything we needed for daily life; we only drove about 15 min.
We felt comfortable all around and rested very well.

Gladly again
For 2 people, the apartment is just right. The furnishings are adequate and sensibly arranged. The garden is very nice and offers plenty of space. Through the garden gate, you can directly reach the lake with a large sunbathing area and swimming spot. In the immediate vicinity, there are many excursion destinations. The landlords are very friendly and helpful.

Pure nature
I felt very comfortable in the vacation apartment of the Bajon family.
The amenities are more than sufficient for two people, and the location in nature is excellent. There is a private entrance, a private carport, and a large garden area with a terrace.
Surrounded by nature, there is no street noise and a bathing opportunity just a few steps away.
Nevertheless, cities like Schwerin, Wismar, or Lübeck can be reached in a short time.
It took me 30 minutes to get to the natural Baltic Sea beach in Barendorf. After returning, I was always delighted by the rich wildlife in front of the vacation apartment, which I would very much like to visit again.
