Experience an unforgettable holiday in our holiday home "Farnberghütte 2", completed in 2023, above Unterweißbach in the Thuringian Forest. This charming holiday home offers 75 square meters of space for up to four guests and features two bedrooms and two associated bathrooms. High above the rooftops of the village and located directly on the hiking trail network, our Farnberghütten 2 is also a starting point for unforgettable tours in the Thuringian Forest, the wild Schwarzatal, and the Rennsteig region in all seasons. Hike as long as your feet will carry you, collect mushrooms, berries, and medicinal herbs right outside the (cabin) door, enjoy.
Surrounded by a picturesque landscape, nestled between trees and meadows, this holiday home offers an idyllic atmosphere. Enjoy the breathtaking view of the forest and mountains directly from our spacious terrace. The small garden invites you to relax and there is enough space for your barbecue evening. Parking spaces for your vehicle(s) are available above the holiday home, then it is a few steps down into nature.
Inside the house, a spacious living area with an open kitchen awaits you, all furnished with solid wood furniture. There is a pellet stove that supplies the central heating and creates a cozy atmosphere in the evenings. The kitchen is fully equipped with a dishwasher, microwave, kettle, and coffee machine. The living room is equipped with a television and offers a comfortable place to relax, Wi-Fi available.
The bedrooms are furnished with high-quality beds and bed linen. The bathrooms have hairdryers and are modernly furnished. The house is non-smoking and offers an allergy-friendly environment.

The holiday home is located above the village of Unterweißbach in a beautiful edge-of-the-forest setting in the Thuringian Forest and on the Schwarzatal. Access is via an asphalt forest road, parking spaces are located above the Farnberghütte. The extensive network of hiking trails runs directly by the parking lot, so that exciting tours can be started right in nature on foot or by mountain bike in summer and in winter.

Dreamlike break
We had a wonderful vacation with our dogs in the Farnberghütte 2. The accommodation has everything (fireplace, terrace, sauna), the Farnberghütte is furnished with so much love for detail. The landlord helps with all questions and has many tips ready. The location is ideal for hiking and is super suitable as a starting point for excursions in the Thuringian Forest.
