Are you looking for peace and nature? But would you also like to experience something? Then you have come to the right place!
Our holiday home is not in the middle of the forest, but on the edge of the forest with a wonderful view of our village. Since it is on the south slope, you will have sun until the evening hours. You can use the terrace to rest, sunbathe, barbecue, eat, drink coffee, or just keep a lookout.
You can also visit small towns like Bad Blankenburg, Rudolstadt, Saalfeld, Ilmenau, Neuhaus, Lauscha, or big cities like Erfurt, Weimar, Eisenach. Everywhere there is something to explore or experience; starting with Martin Luther, Goethe, Bach, Fröbel etc.

You can also leave the car and start hiking directly from the house to the large Haflinger stud farm in Meura,
to the Fröbel tower in Oberweißbach, to the mountain railway in Obstfelderschmiede or Lichtenhain
In the village there is a restaurant, an aunt's shop and an adventure bath with gastronomy.
The winter sports resort of Oberhof can also be easily reached by car in an hour.
You can discover a castle on almost every mountain.
The house itself is designed in such a way that you can also spend the day indoors. Modern, bright, cosy and with upscale furnishings.
