Welcome to our newly designed, light-flooded vacation apartment Lula in Gollenshausen, right on Lake Chiemsee. This cozy holiday home accommodates two guests across approximately 50 square meters of living space. It features a living room with an open kitchen and dining area, a bedroom, and a bathroom, equipped with all the comforts needed for a relaxing stay. The apartment is furnished with attention to detail and offers a cozy corner couch that invites you to relax. The kitchenette is fully equipped with a dishwasher, kettle, and coffee maker, a stove with three burners and an oven, a refrigerator with freezer compartment, toaster, and espresso pot, to make self-catering as pleasant as possible. From the living room, you step out onto the balcony, which during the day offers a magnificent view of the greenery and at night presents the starry sky within reach.
In the bedroom, there is a comfortable double bed and high-quality organic bedding, as well as a mosquito net in front of the window, ensuring restful sleep. We have redesigned the bathroom; it has a spacious shower, underfloor heating, and a hairdryer. A special highlight of our vacation apartment Lula is its proximity to the lake. Want to go for a swim before breakfast? Just a few steps away!
A free parking space is available for the car.
The apartment offers Wi-Fi. It is a non-smoking apartment, but smoking is of course allowed on the balcony. Long-term rentals are possible upon request and at certain times. Holiday Apartment Lula is surrounded by a unique landscape that invites you to hike and explore. Immersing in the tranquility and beauty of nature is possible everywhere here. During walks, on bike tours, or while watching the sunset at the lakeshore.

Just a few steps from Chiemsee, very green and very quiet – that's where our holiday apartment Lula is located in Gollenshausen. In the village, there is a small supermarket including a bakery, where you can get all the essentials for daily needs, and fresh rolls, pretzels, and bread are available six days a week. Fresh eggs are available from the farm; in Lienzing, there is a small hut where eggs from the chickens in the meadow opposite can be bought seven days a week. In Gollenhausen, there is also a bus that goes either to Taunstein or to Prien.
SURROUNDINGS
The surroundings are simply fantastic – lakes, mountains, rivers, forests, moors, bike paths, plenty of hiking and water sports opportunities. Ideal for those who like to be active. But also for those who prefer a slower pace, walking and eating ice cream, sitting in the beer garden looking at the lake, the area offers wonderfully diverse options. CULTURE & CUISINE
If you're in the mood for some culture: The Fraueninsel with Germany’s oldest convent and Herreninsel with Herrenchiemsee Palace are within sight, while Seeon Abbey is only a few kilometers away. And old treasures, museums, excavations tell the story of the Roman region Chiemsee at different stations around the lake. Bavarian specialties can be found all around the lake: Whether onion domes on the many small and larger churches or onion roast beef in the hearty Bavarian restaurants - there is plenty of food for body and soul.
CITY TASTING
Munich is only an hour away, so is Salzburg, both also easily accessible by train if you want to stroll around the city a bit. The enchanting old town of Wasserburg am Inn is exceptional - definitely worth an excursion. This also applies to Traunstein, Rosenheim, Bad Reichenhall, and Berchtesgaden, the latter offering a particularly popular excursion destination with its salt mine.
DIVE INTO THE THERMAL BATHS
There are several thermal baths in the area, the nearest ones are in Bad Aibling and Bad Endorf, both including large sauna landscapes, absolutely wonderful for diving in. LAKE SATISFACTION
But of course, this can also be enjoyed in the numerous lakes – Lake Chiemsee right outside the door, nearby the Eggstätt Hemhofer lake district with 18 lakes, many wonderful bathing spots, mystical coves, and jetties perfect for doing yoga or having a picnic at sunset. And also Simssee, Waginger See, Königssee, Schliersee, Tegernsee, Starnberger See are all not far away - provided that you actually want to leave here, because Gollenshausen has a beautiful, freely accessible beach with a bathing island and pier, small harbor, bar and restaurant, toilets and shower - and is actually one of the most beautiful places on Chiemsee with views of the Kampenwand, Fraueninsel, and the mountain panorama. SUMMITING
In the Chiemgau Alps, numerous peaks await to be climbed. Whether Kampenwand or Hochfelln, Hochgern or Hörndlwand, everywhere you enjoy a fantastic view over Chiemsee.

Whether spring, summer, autumn or winter, sun or snow, the Chiemgau offers a variety of outdoor opportunities all year round. Skiing, hiking, swimming, kite surfing, boat tours, stand-up paddling, mini golf, bike tours, drifting on the Alz with a rubber dinghy ... all wonderful. And in the swimming pools and saunas of the wellness areas in Waging, at Prienavera, on Gut Ising, in the Chiemgau Thermen or the Therme Bad Aibling, the senses relax in any weather.

Hello fans of Chiemsee. We ourselves live in this wonderful spot on Earth and enjoy nature, the garden, the proximity to the lake, excursions in the surrounding area, and the closeness to Munich and Salzburg when we feel like city strolls. I have a naturopathy practice in Prien, my husband runs cafés in Munich, the kids are studying, and the cat typically purrs through the day. We are happy to offer a temporary home here and have set everything up so that one can truly feel comfortable.
