In the heart of the forest of "Värmland" lies the community Lekvattnet. This place is characterized by the wings of culture and with the big forest and the water just inside the village. There are fantastic hiking trails, mushrooms and berry forests, plenty of opportunities for fishing and wilderness adventure. About 300 meters from the lake at an altitude is this fresh house, built in 1984 and with extensive renovation in 2020 With its four bedrooms, of which two with double beds, and with generous areas for living together, this is a really airy and fresh accommodation for a few weeks holiday. Generous covered roof and master bedroom with private balcony. Large open kitchen with separate wall-oven and microwave. It is possible to swim in the lake below the house but if you want it right there is "Pägertjärn" offers a very well prepared bath and fishing camp 2.8 km from the house. Free fishing for children, otherwise the fishing license applies The house lacks wifi and fiber but channels 1 & 2 as well as the children's channel are on TV. When it comes to telephony, it is currently best coverage with Telia subscriptions. In the village there is a "Homestead" where there is, among other things, a collective laundry room where you can book yourself. The local shop is open for a certain part of the summer, but Torsby is only 25 km away and there is all the variety you can wish for in the form of shops and eateries. With about 6,2 miles (1 swedish mile) to the Norwegian border and with a few 100 meters to the magnificent scenery, this is a great place to have as a base for their exploration trips but also to just be "home" and enjoy life.
