Description

Two cars can park one behind the other for free in the courtyard. The parking space is not suitable for larger vehicles such as caravans, etc.

You will have the house to yourself and will be completely undisturbed.

Depending on the season, you can enjoy delicious figs directly from our two large fig trees and/or enhance your culinary specialties with fresh vegetables from our garden.

This holiday home is a non-smoking house where parties are not allowed. Long-term rentals are possible.

Location and surroundings of object

"Casa Rustica" is located in northwest Croatia in a small, quiet place called Dobreć, which belongs to the municipality of Opatija and is situated above the health resort Lovran.

Directly outside the door are hiking trails leading to the highest peak in Istria, "Vojak" (1401 meters), in Učka National Park.

Lovran is about a 7-minute drive away (approx. 4 km), the town of Opatija about a 15-minute drive (approx. 8 km), and the port city of Rijeka about a 35-minute drive (approx. 25 km). The capital city, Zagreb, can be reached in approximately 2 hours by car (about 200 km).

The first beaches are located in Lovran, where the famous coastal promenade "Lungo Mare" also begins and leads up to Volosko (about 2 hours walking). In Lovran, there is, among other things, a beautiful old town.

Please be aware that on the day of departure, dishes, cutlery, pots, and kitchen appliances that you have used must be cleaned and put back in the cupboards, and the trash bins must be emptied.

When leaving the house, lights and electrical devices, including the electric stove, must be turned off and windows and doors must be closed.

Please do not dispose of hygiene products or leftover food in the toilet. Due to its proximity to the garden, it is unfortunately impossible to completely prevent crawling insects from finding their way into the house.

With an occupancy of up to four people, the 3rd room will not be available to guests.

Due to the traditional Istrian architecture, the ceilings of the "Casa Rustica" are somewhat lower, especially on the ground floor (kitchen area approx. 1.96 m, living area approx. 2 m, hallway and toilet approx. 1.96 m). On the upper floor, the ceiling height is about 2.20 m. The height of the entrance door is about 1.63 m.

The hot water is heated with a boiler. Once the hot water is used up, it takes some time for it to heat up again. Please be economical with the hot water for this reason.
