The flat is situated in a quiet location slightly above the old town of Staufen; a 10-minute walk away; back a little slower as it is uphill...:) Staufen with its medieval old town, surrounded by vineyards, lies at the foot of the southern Black Forest in the district of Breisgau-Hochschwarzwald.
From there you have a beautiful view of Staufen Castle, the Rhine plain and the Vosges mountains in nearby Alsace.
The apartment is a good starting point for hikes in all directions. There is a railway station about 2 km away. The nearest airport (Basel-Mulhouse) is approx. 50 km away.

Beautiful small apartment

A CLASS holiday apartment with TOP amenities and service in Staufen!
From the very beginning, the stay was a real highlight. Already with the friendly greeting from the hosts, our stay began. This vacation apartment impresses with a modern, high-quality furnishings – everything is thought out down to the last detail. The kitchen is perfectly equipped, the furniture is comfortable and stylish, and the entire apartment radiates a warm, inviting atmosphere. The excellent service is particularly noteworthy: Upon arrival, we were warmly welcomed, and throughout our stay, the care was always friendly, attentive, and professional. Questions were answered immediately, and requests were fulfilled without complications – here, one truly feels welcome as a guest.
The location in Staufen is ideal: quiet, yet close to the center, making it easy to reach restaurants, cafés, and the beautiful old town. Conclusion: A vacation apartment that leaves nothing to be desired – perfect equipment, first-class service, and a dreamlike environment. Absolutely recommended for anyone who wants to enjoy a relaxed and comfortable stay in Staufen!

Lovingly furnished small holiday apartment
We felt completely at home in the vacation apartment in the Ditfurth house. The two hosts are incredibly friendly and warm - we felt welcome right away. The location is perfect, quiet and yet close to everything that makes Staufen so charming. The apartment itself is a real little gem: lovingly furnished, with everything you need. We particularly enjoyed the balcony and the terrace - ideal for relaxing after an eventful day. A true gem in a beautiful setting - we would love to come back and can only highly recommend it.

Lovely gem in Staufen
We spent a few days in this romantic holiday apartment with very warm hosts. The apartment is small but very atmospheric; it has everything that makes a short vacation wonderful. Wonderful location, good mattresses, sufficiently equipped kitchen, great balcony seating area with a view of the greenery. Staufen is a lovely little town, and we would be very happy to return.
