The cycle path network in the Mecklenburg Lake District covers around 2,000 kilometres. The paths are as varied as the landscape. Sometimes uphill and sometimes downhill. The cycle paths criss-cross the natural landscape. You cycle past lakeshores, through the Müritz National Park and through 6 other nature parks. In between are villages and small towns with refreshment stops.
In addition to the numerous cycling and hiking trails, there are also bridle paths for different levels of ability. Dogs must be kept on a lead throughout Mecklenburg-Vorpommern to protect the forest's animal inhabitants.
Nature-loving holidaymakers - bathers, anglers, water sports enthusiasts, cycling and hiking fans will find relaxation and recreation right away. More than 230 kilometres of signposted cycling and hiking trails in and around the Müritz National Park alone offer numerous holiday activities.
Swim, paddle, surf or simply play on the beach. There are playgrounds for climbing, romping, sliding and swinging. The holiday park also offers age-appropriate entertainment for creative activities.
You can reach the Müritz holiday park by car via the A24 and A19 motorways, exit Röbel and take the B198 federal road towards Neustrelitz. After the village of Vietzen, turn left after the bridge towards Rechlin Nord. Follow the road for approx. 3 km until you reach the GSE company on the left-hand side. Turn left towards Hafendorf, after approx. 200 metres you will see signs for Ferienpark Müritz and reception.
The nearby municipality of Rechlin is a state-recognised resort and offers almost all shopping facilities from fishermen to supermarkets. Rechlin is also the gateway to the Müritz National Park.

Winter at the Müritz has its own special charm. A walk along the banks of the Müritz or through the national park is worthwhile in the snow. Listening to the sounds of the animals is a fascinating experience. You can go ice skating and ice fishing on the frozen lake. Caution: Pay attention to the authorisation!
