Free offers
- With the tandem through the Wendland. We are happy to provide you with a free tandem for hire and a cycling map with beautiful routes.
- Archery for young and old. You can hire bows and arrows from us and shoot at an archery target on our own shooting range. We have four different bows to choose from. From approx. 10 years
- Axe throwing for the grown-ups. Want to try something new? Then axe throwing is just the thing for you! We'll give you three small throwing axes and you can try your hand at it on the farm's own course.
- Fancy a treasure hunt? Then geo-caching might be just the thing for you. Fun for young and old. We have prepared two routes for you. We will provide you with everything you need.
- Why don't you play something? In addition to kubb, boccia and various balls, our playground offers plenty of space for fun and games.
- And we also have an alternative for bad weather. Enjoy a cinema evening in your own living room. You can rent one of over 800 films and get a popcorn machine and corn to go with it if you wish.
About us
Our Schoppe family has lived in the old brickworks in Mützingen for 30 years. We are the next generation: my wife, my young daughter, my young son and I have built the Kediol holiday home and lovingly furnished it. Most of the furniture (bed, kitchen, washbasin, toilet stand, wardrobe, window sills) was made by me as a trained carpenter and is therefore unique. We put a lot of love into the details and attached great importance to high-quality furnishings and building materials.

Built in 2018, the 70m2 loft offers an open-plan concept that integrates the kitchen, living, dining and sleeping areas in one room. The modern furnishings include:
- Solid wood bed (180x220 cm)
- Solid oak kitchen unit
- Modern kitchen equipment (coffee machine, dishwasher, microwave, etc.)
- Wood-burning stove
- TV (48 inch) with DVD player
- Timber frame made from beams over 100 years old
- High-quality bathroom with underfloor heating (also in the shower)
- 30 square metre roof terrace with barbecue
- Wellness facilities (sauna, hot tub for up to 7 people, massage available by appointment)
- Playground for children in the outdoor area (slide, sandpit, swing, etc.)
The garden of all our holiday homes is very deliberately designed. Our aim here is to counteract the death of insects in this day and age. As a result, we also provide a natural habitat for many birds, squirrels and other animals, such as hedgehogs. Many native shrubs, trees, flowers, fruit trees and plants grow in our outdoor areas. There should always be around 80% native plants to provide sufficient food and habitat for insects. For the various bird species, we offer a variety of bird houses to facilitate the strenuous breeding and rearing of the young. The plots are surrounded by a Benjes hedge, which provides a habitat and protection for many animals.
