Discover the idyll of Lomitz (municipality of Prezelle) in our charming holiday apartment Wenjenhof. With a living area of approx. 90 square meters, the apartment offers space for up to 6 guests. It features 1 living room, 1-2 bedrooms, 1-2 bathrooms, and 1 kitchen.
The cozy living and sleeping rooms are located on the upper floor. The kitchen and the bathroom with bathtub are on the ground floor. In front of the separate entrance on the side of the main house is the sunny, covered breakfast corner. Shared use of the natural garden, bordered by old oaks, for relaxing in the silence…
The beautifully situated farm lies in a quiet (semi-)rundling near the forest, between two bathing lakes (Gartower See/Arendsee) and close to the Elbe (Elbtalaue). The scenic alternation of forest and fields invites you to ride, cycle, and hike. Guided trail rides are available from the neighboring village. In the village there is a sauna, fresh eggs, country milk and cheese from the farmer, and in autumn a forest full of mushrooms.

The relaxed peace in the countryside
We look back on a few relaxing and quiet days at Wenjenhof. We were warmly and kindly welcomed and were able to spend a lovely time in the lovingly furnished holiday apartment. We particularly enjoyed the small cozy and covered seating area right in front of the entrance door. This offered a few hours of warming sun after returning from our day trips. Not far from the accommodation are the Gartower and Arendsee, which invite a variety of leisure activities. We would gladly come back again to enjoy the hospitality of the Schwarz family.

Pure tranquility and deceleration

If this Asian wisdom is even remotely accurate, then in seven days at Wenjenhof we have gained a considerable number of additional life days.

Recommendation for those seeking peace and quiet, nature and art lovers.
In June, we spent nine wonderful vacation days in the lovingly furnished apartment at Wenjenhof, among other things with paintings by Mrs. Schwarz herself and hand-woven carpets. Doris and Hans Schwarz are very attentive and courteous hosts. Booking and payment were very straightforward. Despite the changeable weather, we enjoyed a few nice bike rides and hikes in addition to trips to Hitzacker and the museum village Diesdorf. In the rain, we were able to make ourselves comfortable under the porch in the entrance area, and in the sunshine at the back in the large garden, with views of the fields.
There is a "milk vending machine" within walking distance in the village, where you can buy fresh raw milk as well as eggs, cheese, and honey. For other shopping, you have to drive to Gartow or Arendsee.
We enjoyed the absolute peace here and felt very comfortable overall.
We will definitely come back.
