Discover the idyllic guest house Olivaki in Sternes, Akrotiri on Crete - Chania. This charming cottage offers space for up to three guests + 1 infant (up to 3 years) on 32 square metres of living space and has two bedrooms, a bathroom and a separate WC.
The guest house is surrounded by a beautiful garden in the olive grove (1000 square metres), which invites you to relax with its diverse flora and shady trees. The house stands separately and is separated from the main house by trees and plants. It has its own driveway and car park directly in front of the house. There is also a BBQ grill, ideal for cosy barbecue evenings. The swimming pool at the main house is ideal for cooling off (use by arrangement).
You can enjoy the warm summer evenings on the terrace and round off the day with a glass of wine. On cooler days, the A/C in the living area creates a cosy atmosphere and guarantees a pleasant stay even in the hot summer months.
The eat-in kitchen consists of a fully equipped kitchen and a sofa seating area; it has a kettle and a coffee machine so that you can start your morning with a fresh cup of coffee or tea. Bed linen, towels are provided and entertainment is provided by a
Smart TV & jukebox. Wi-Fi is available throughout the house and an iron and hairdryer are also provided.
It has a small bedroom with double bed (1.60 X 2.00), another bedroom with a single bed is available. There is the possibility to add a cot/extra bed.
A small shower room and extra WC complete our small guest house.
For our younger guests there is a cot/cradle for the very little ones and 2 bicycles can be used for excursions in the surrounding area. Please note that the house is a non-smoking house, outside smoking is of course possible. Experience an unforgettable holiday at Olivaki Guest House, surrounded by the impressive nature of Crete.
Short stays of 1,2 days are just as possible as longer stays.
We are happy to organise the transfer to the airport or offer the possibility of breakfast.
We live right next door with our 2 dogs and a cat. It cannot be ruled out that our animals are curious to visit the other part of our large property.

Situated close to the airport, you can quickly reach your holiday home and immediately relax in the beautiful, shady garden.
Our small guest house offers the ideal location to explore the beautiful beaches of Akrotiri (Marathi, Kalathas, Tersanas, Seitan Limania and Stavros). The beaches on Akrotiri are sandy and ideal for children. Water sports are available on almost all beaches.
The monasteries of Agia Triada and Gouverneto are in the immediate vicinity and invite you to a wine tasting in the monastery of Agia Triada or enjoy the breathtaking view over the coast from the Gouverneto monastery.
You can quickly reach Souda and take the national road to the west - the beaches of Falasarna and Balos invite you to enjoy swimming in crystal-clear water.
Excursions to the south coast to Paleochora or Elafonisi are also possible as a day trip.
The city of Chania can be reached quickly in approx. 15 minutes and invites you to take a stroll through the winding alleyways of the old town.
In spring or autumn there are many hiking trails offering variety - we are happy to provide tips and information.
