The impressive property rises above the bay of Souda, one of the largest and most impressive natural bays of the Mediterranean. Ferries depart daily from the harbour of the small town to Piraeus. The sandy Kyani Akti beach in the bay of Souda is nearby. Families with small children will enjoy the sandy beach in the seaside resort of Almirida, which slopes gently into the water.
This comfortable holiday home has been furnished in traditional style and exudes a rustic atmosphere with round stone arches and wooden beamed ceilings. The living area is equipped with TV, CD and DVD player, WiFi and terrace access. The open-plan kitchen is well-equipped and has an adjoining dining area with access to the veranda. A bathroom completes the ground floor offering. The washing machine is housed externally.
The upper floor of the holiday home houses the air-conditioned sleeping wing with a double bedroom with en-suite bathroom, a twin bedroom with French doors, another bathroom and a double bedroom with access to a large balcony with dream views.
This view can also be admired from the well-kept outdoor area of this holiday home. Extensive terraces with cosy sitting areas guarantee a unique holiday. The beautifully shaped swimming pool is integrated into the spacious terrace landscape and has an integrated children's pool and an outdoor shower. On the sun loungers you can enjoy the sun's rays, let your eyes wander over the bay and the sea and get a feeling for what southern flair means. Ideal conditions for relaxing are found in the outdoor four-poster bed on the pool level. In the dining area of the shaded veranda, which makes ideal use of the beautiful view, guests of this holiday home can enjoy meals in convivial company, taste one of the local wines and take in the surroundings. The brick barbecue area is a guarantee for romantic barbecues. A particularly cosy place to experience the sunset behind the mountains! Parking is also available on the property.

The Greek island of Crete is known for its rich history, culture and nature. The Apokoronas region stretches along the northwest coast with rolling hills, beautiful mountain villages and good hiking opportunities. In the picturesque village of Megala Chorafia you will find a mini-market, a café and inviting tavernas serving regional cuisine. The thyme-covered slopes lend an intoxicating aroma to the honey produced here. Nearby is the ancient Aptera. This archaeological site contains ruins from different eras and well-preserved Roman cisterns. Chania, with its beautiful Venetian harbour, is also worth a visit. Rough mountains, gorges and caves characterise the landscape further south. The Samaria Gorge in the white mountains "Lefka Ori" is a popular destination for hikers.
