The small village of Rethwisch lies in the centre of rural Holstein Switzerland. Surrounded by forests and fields. The holiday home is located away from the noise of the road and daily influences, and the Bay of Howacht to the north and the Bay of Lübeck to the east are approx. 15 to 20 km away. The island of Fehmarn is about 35 km away and you can discover the lake district of Plön. Small towns (Eutin, Neustadt, etc.) invite you with many sights and cosy gastronomy. the surroundings of the holiday home are very suitable for hiking and cycling tours.

Beautiful and quiet location. Very friendly landlords.
We spent a wonderfully beautiful vacation in this holiday home in September. The house is spacious, very well-maintained, and clean. The expansive property is perfect for families with children or travelers with dogs. Those seeking peace and relaxation will definitely find it here.
The weather was ideal for varied hikes in the area. But even on rainy days, the house offers a cozy retreat with games and books. The hosts are exceptionally warm and accommodating.
We really enjoyed our stay and are already looking forward to coming back soon.

Those seeking peace and nature are in the right place.
We found this little house at short notice and are very happy about it. A small but very nice house with a lot of nature and a huge garden. The house has everything you need for everyday life. If you need hustle and bustle or the beach and the Baltic Sea, it can be reached in 10-15 minutes. We were received very warmly. The contact with the landlord was totally uncomplicated and warm-hearted. Nearby, there is a large grocery store where you can get everything you need. One must travel there, but that can be combined with excursions.
Overall, a holiday home that we recommend 100%. We will come back.

Holidays in the midst of nature and plenty of peace
This holiday home is located on the edge of a small former farm amidst a huge garden. Surrounding it are only fields and forests. The location is ideal for unwinding and relaxing if you enjoy peace and nature.
Shopping must be done by car, and you can only reach the Baltic Sea if you want to go to the sea. However, the area of the Schleswig-Holstein Switzerland around Bungsberg is beautiful and a paradise for cyclists. The single-family house is somewhat older, but it is continuously being modernized and is well-equipped, offering enough space for 2-4 people. The heating also kicks in immediately on cold days and provides cozy warmth. Internet and television are top-notch, and the kitchen equipment, including washing and dishwashing machines, is also satisfactory.
We have now been guests in this house for the 5th time. Its landlords are very friendly. We will come back.

Beautiful holiday home in a wonderful quiet location
We have already been to this beautiful cozy holiday home for the second time. We can recommend it without reservation, the garden is a dream, the location is very quiet, those looking for relaxation will find it here. Dogs are very welcome. The Baltic Sea can also be reached quickly by car. We felt very comfortable and will come back. The Herder family.
