The Seestern Ostsee is a wooden house in Danish style and has 53 sqm of living space. Lovingly furnished in maritime style, it is meant to remind you of an old fisherman's house. In the holiday home, a high-quality equipped kitchen awaits you.
The open dining and living area and the adjoining terrace invite you to linger. A wood-burning stove provides cosy warmth in the evenings. Adjacent is the utility room with the possibility to dry the laundry or to store things. The adjoining bathroom with ground-level shower gives you the right momentum in the morning and the nightly relaxation in the evening
The bedroom is equipped with a cuddly soft box spring bed 180x 200 and invites you to dream. There is also an adjoining terrace. The surroundings of the holiday home Seestern are directly at the Mönchneversdorfer See and in only 200 m you have reached it by foot and can walk there wonderfully. Further walking possibilities are offered by a forest only 700 m away. All in all, the location is super idyllic and yet so central to many Baltic Sea resorts. You are welcome with or without your four-legged friend. Hygiene and disinfection are also very important to us, and not only at Corona times

The enchanting region of Mönchneversdorf belongs to the municipality of Schönwalde am Bungsberg.
In Mönchneversdorf and in the immediate vicinity there are mainly agriculturally used areas, which offer an interesting contrast to the sea and the lakes and forests of the region. The varied nature invites you to hike through forests, across meadows and fields to smaller lakes.The range of sports and leisure activities in Mönchneversdorf offers the right activity for every holidaymaker. Here you can explore the surrounding countryside on foot, by bike or even on horseback, and your own holiday home provides the ideal starting point for this. The well-developed network of cycling and riding paths leads you through green forests, past flowering meadows and shows you the beautiful sides of the region around Mönchneversdorf. If you prefer it quiet and contemplative, you can also retreat to one of the fishing lakes and pursue your hobby in peace and quiet.

In Schönwalde am Bungsberg, on the other hand, hiking enthusiasts will get their money's worth. After a strenuous hiking tour, hikers are rewarded with a wonderful view from the Bungsberg, which offers a view over half of Schleswig-Holstein. At a height of 168 metres, the Bungsberg even has a ski lift.

If you are interested in history and tradition, you should visit the village museum in Schönwalde, which provides an interesting insight into the region's past. Here, among other things, you can visit a faithfully furnished school class from that time and get an idea of the village school system at that time.
The Hansa Park is not far from Mönchneversdorf. Surrounded by the beautiful Baltic Sea landscape, the adventure park offers exciting attractions for young and old.

A short holiday in a vacation home in Mönchneversdorf is also worthwhile. The Baltic Sea is exciting and interesting at all times of the year, and even an extended weekend here can have a significant recreational effect just from the Baltic Sea air alone.

Great holiday home in Scandinavian style

My wife and I, along with our Border Collie Panda, were able to enjoy a week at the truly beautiful and peacefully located holiday home. Everything was very tastefully decorated, very clean, and cozy. Unfortunately, the weather didn't quite play along as we had hoped. Nevertheless, we were able to explore the beautiful surroundings from Eutin to Plön. Friday also brought sunshine and a trip to Grömitz. Our dog enjoyed the well-fenced garden and wanted to extend the stay by at least another week. A very warm thank you to you, the Lauff family, for the wonderful time and the welcome greeting. Extraordinary!

I had the pleasure of staying in an incredibly well-equipped holiday home. Everything was so clean and cozy. The garden is securely fenced for dogs and even had food bowls, sleeping places, and dog toys. We could relax by the fireplace and watch the sea eagle in the morning while having coffee. The owners left us a small welcome gift. It was all so nice, and I felt very welcome. I would love to come back with my dog. I highly recommend this holiday home to anyone planning a trip to the Baltic Sea. Thank you for the wonderful time. B.Rhode

Beautiful vacation home.

A small, beautiful and very tastefully furnished holiday home. Superbly equipped and centrally located to explore the entire Baltic coast from Neustadt to Fehmarn, including Grömitz which is only 20 minutes away by car. The fenced property is great for dogs, and the nearby lake is perfect for walks. Shopping is available in Schönwalde about 5 minutes away. You don't need anything else for a nice vacation. I gladly recommend this property, we were there with 2 adults and 2 dogs. The landlords are also very nice and accommodating, everything worked out great.

Holiday with a dog.

This year we rented a vacation house from the Lauff family. We have been to the Baltic Sea many times, but this house surpassed everything. Already when we entered the house, we were warmly welcomed with a greeting. The house is equipped with everything for humans and dogs. The outdoor area is very well maintained and large. Relaxing holiday

We stayed at Haus Seestern for 2 weeks with our dog. The house is equipped with everything you need for daily use. (since we were so lucky with the weather I missed one small thing: an ice maker for the freezer ;) but that is only a small thing) and does not warrant a deduction ...! Our dog felt very comfortable, as he could go into the garden at any time of the day, there were enough bowls for him, also hangers for leashes etc., everything was very well thought out. We sat on the terrace until the early evening and could enjoy the pleasant sun for a long time as the house is perfectly positioned and the sun is not blocked by anything else. The house is very quiet and you can make plans for the next day
We were able to meet the Lauff family in person and they are just as nice as all the email contact beforehand. If someone really has a concern, I can only recommend to contact them right away, they are very eager to find a solution. For us it was a matter of course to treat the house and the furnishings as if they were ours.
I can only recommend this house for those looking for peace and quiet, from there you can get to everything, walks in the forest or visits to the beach...! Without the usual tourist hustle and bustle!

Only without dog

We were there at the beginning of June 22 with two dogs. It is a beautiful cottage, ideal for 2 people. The garden is sunny and beautiful, unfortunately there were no garden cushions for the chairs and loungers. On departure we left the house in a tidy condition, unfortunately money would be deducted from the deposit. There were still too many dog hairs discovered during cleaning. We have never experienced anything like this before

Liebe Familie S. Wir nehmen Kritik immer sehr ernst und bedanken uns für Ihre Bewertung. Es ist immer schade und enttäuschend für beide Seiten,wenn es Dinge gibt, die nicht optimal gelaufen sind. Wir bemühen uns sehr,damit sich die Gäste bei uns wohlfühlen. Wir haben das Glück, eine sehr gewissenhafte Reinigungsfee zu haben, das ist bei Weitem heutzutage nicht selbstverständlich. Die Endreinigung beinhaltet die Reinigung der normalen Verschmutzung, da An- und Abreise zeitlich sehr knapp sind,sind wir auf Einhaltung der Hausordnung angewiesen.
Wenn eine Partie das Haus mit einem erhöhten Putzaufwand hinterlässt, dann hat eine gewissenhafte Reinigungkraft sehr viel Stress ,das Ferienhaus von Hundehaaren (u.a. auch im Bett)zu befreien,da wir den nächsten Gästen eine ebenso ordentliches Ferienhaus übergeben möchten.
Leider wurden die Hunde mit ins Bett u. auf das Sofa genommen und Hundehaare waren überall vorzufinden. Bilder und Infos hierzu hatten wir ja per Mail gesandt.
Über Ihre verspätete Abreise, wo unsere Reinugungskraft warten musste, haben wir drüber hinweg gesehen,wir haben nur das Bettuch und den erhöhten Reinigungsaufwand berechnet.
Für die Liegestuhlauflagen wird es im nächsten Jahr eine Aufbewahrungsmöglichkeit geben.
Auflagen für die Stühle sind im Flurschrank aufbewahrt.
Wir hoffen dennoch,Sie haben etwas Verständnis für uns als Vermieter und es schmälert nicht Ihre dennoch schöne Zeit in unserem Ferienhaus. Bleiben Sie gesund.

Pure relaxation

We stayed in the beautiful holiday home over the holidays. We were looking for peace and relaxation and found it here. A cosy house with everything you need for cosy evenings by the fireplace. Our little Theo also felt very comfortable. The furnishings were great, the kitchen had everything you need and the four-legged friends were also taken care of. The garden is fenced in, which was great. We went for many walks around the lake, right in front of the house. In summer, it's certainly nice here too. It is definitely a nice place and the Lauff family made a lot of effort to make it as pleasant as possible for us. Thank you very much for that.

Great holiday home for 2 adults with dog

We (= 2 adults with dog) spent the pre-Christmas period in this beautiful holiday home.
We didn't miss anything, very nicely furnished in a maritime style and also very practically equipped with many hooks and shelves, very helpful especially in the small bathroom.

The house is very cosy despite or even because of its small size, and in bad weather you can spend whole days in it, but as a dog lover you also go for a walk in bad weather. There's a nice loop around the "Haussee" lake right outside the door. In addition, the location of the holiday home in Holstein Switzerland is an ideal starting point for excursions to the Baltic Sea beach, to the many lakes between Eutin and Plön as well as city tours to Lübeck, Kiel and the smaller towns in the surrounding area. We especially liked the many tips we received from the owner via social media during our stay, in addition to the brochures, flyers, etc. in the house. We would recommend the house for 2 people (maximum 3 people), even though two adults could sleep well on the sofa bed. As expected, we did not use the garden area at this time of year, but it is very nicely laid out and fenced all around, which dog owners really appreciate. So all in all, a great holiday home and great landlords!

Great location, great house

Great holiday home, cosy and beautifully furnished. We and our dogs felt very comfortable. The fence was also great for our little four-legged friend Sam. The house and grounds were also very clean and well maintained. The gardener came and mowed the lawn by arrangement. We like to come back. Idyllic beach holiday home

We are the Lauff family from the beautiful Sauerland. For many years it was our dream to own our own holiday home and to rent it out to our dear guests. It was certainly one of the hardest and perhaps not the best times to buy a house at a distance of 500km and corona regulations, but we found it and fell in love at first sight and so the Seestern Ostsee is here for you in Holstein Switzerland on Lake Mönchneversdorfer See. We had always dreamed that our three little dogs who loved to go in the water so much could experience this, but life often has its own way and our two water rats passed away before it even started. However, this wish could come true for you and we would like to make this possible and have spent many hours working to turn this house into a cosy oasis of well-being. We look forward to seeing you.
