"The cleanliness left much to be desired; the refrigerator, stove, and dishes were all cleaned again by us upon arrival. The vacuum robot was not operable, and the cordless vacuum had a rather short runtime. We have never experienced a waste situation like this in 25 years of vacationing in holiday homes. A much too small trash can for 6 adults and a child in diapers. Then the trash also has to be sorted." One could just about live with that, but having to drive the garbage 4 km through Spangereid in one's car would be worth mentioning in the house description. Many mattresses were dirty. Three outdoor chairs were defective. Free firewood is described, which was also available. However, since it was not covered, it could not be used because it was wet. We could not use the boat as the "leak plug" was missing, so it would continuously pump out water during a boat ride. The location and view were great. The washer-dryer takes a lot of time. The location of the house on the mountain offers a wonderful view of the water. The provided outdoor seating furniture is great. The house is licensed for 10 people. I would want to stay with a maximum of 8 people. There is enough dishware available, and cooking is also great. Unfortunately, there was clearly too little closet space available. Recommendations: Kristiansand, Farsund, and the lighthouse of Lindesnes are always worth a trip. For nature and history enthusiasts, a trip via Lyngdal, the salmon center in Kvos with waterfall and Tingvatn is also recommended.

The open living space was perfect for our group, The kitchen was well-equipped and we really enjoyed the BBQ in the backyard, Moreover, the beach is within walking distance, The only downside was that the WiFi could have been faster, but we were too busy having fun to care much about it, Would definitely recommend for a group outing!

This place is a whole vibe! Super spacious for the squad, and the view of the beach is just different. The kitchen has all the essential things, which is handy for late-night snack runs. Plus, the free boat? Huge bonus for some fun on the water. Definitely coming back!
