The holiday home is furnished in a rustic, cosy and well-kept style
The living room with the integrated kitchenette is 45m². It is equipped with a large dining table for 8 people and a sitting area with TV (German SAT TV). In the kitchenette there is a 4-burner propane gas cooker with extractor bonnet, a microwave and sufficient pots, glasses, crockery and cutlery. Furthermore, there is a fridge-freezer, a mini oven, a toaster and a coffee machine. Numerous board games, playing cards, puzzle cups and books are also available
The living room can be heated either by wood-burning stove or electrically. The bright living room offers a beautiful view of the lake Kleivvatnet and the surrounding mountains
There are three bedrooms with a total of 4 bunk beds. The bedrooms have 4,2 and 2 sleeping places
Please remember to bring your own bed linen and towels!!!
A small washroom and shower room is located separately next to the living rooms. Running water (hot and cold) is available in the shower and in the kitchen.
The car park offers space for two normal-sized cars.
The biological toilet (not an outhouse, but peat-based, like all the toilets in the surrounding huts) is located about 15m away from the living quarters for ecological reasons. A small hand-washing basin for personal hygiene is available directly at the toilet.
Two plastic boats (for 4-5 persons and 2-3 persons) with paddles and an electric motor, which may also be used on the lake, are available. Life jackets in different sizes are available in the toilet building behind the curtain. The available fishing equipment may be used for fishing in the lake
A charcoal grill and a new electric table grill are also available (both are located under the hut). We ask that you take great care when using an open barbecue to prevent forest fires. Thank you very much.

Location and surroundings of object
The cottage is located about 13 kilometres north of the village of Lyngdal on a hillside by a small lake surrounded by mountains. The paths are well developed and signposted.
Unfortunately, the cottage is not suitable for people with physical disabilities due to the slope and the structural condition
Lyngdal is a small, tranquil town with about 10,000 inhabitants. You can get all your daily necessities there. In the centre of the village there is a tourist information centre where you can get valuable tips on leisure activities and many other activities. The indoor swimming pool directly on the Rosfjord is always worth a visit.
Day trips can be made to Lindesnes, Kristiansand or Stavanger. On the Lysefjord (Rogaland) you will find the Preikestolen and the Kjeragbolten. Both sights require sturdy shoes and physical fitness. A driving time of 2 1/2 to 3 hours (one way) should be planned here. Also worth a visit is the Mövik Cannon Museum, near Kristiansand.

Pure Norway
Very beautiful location, pure relaxation.
Ideal for dog owners!
Very attentive landlords, the house was preheated. The equipment was very good, the mattresses could be slightly thicker for people with back problems.

A dream with a lot of calmness.
This accommodation has a lot of charm and does not disappoint in any way. Anyone who books this accommodation knows that they are booking peace in nature. The facilities in the house are more than sufficient and the price-performance ratio is simply top. There is a lot to discover in front of the door or in the surrounding area. This house was the start of our small tour through southern Norway and the start of a fresh love. We can only recommend the accommodation and the country to anyone who is considering getting to know something special. Simply unique!

Beautiful, rustic holiday home
The holiday home is rustic and top furnished. We didn't miss anything. In case of rainy weather, we had a selection of game collections. Arriving and feeling comfortable with a view of the beautiful little lake. The jetty at the lake is very inviting to sit and relax in the sunshine. The path from the parking lot to the house is a bit difficult with luggage, but doable. There is hardly any mobile phone reception, so if you want to switch off completely, it's just right.

Cabin vacation by the lake
The cabin, located on a hillside, is a wonderful place to disconnect from everyday life, enjoy nature and tranquility. Everything has been thought of and we didn't miss anything. The terrace invites you to look out over the lake. With the boats, you can explore the lake or go fishing. Swimming is possible, but it only gets shallow in a few places. There are many great excursion possibilities in the area. It is possible with small children, but not optimally suitable because of the stairs. The landlords make a lot of effort and answer all questions promptly. It can only be recommended and we are happy that we spent our vacation there.

Simply wonderful!
We had a great time in this wonderful house on the lake with our own boats. The view is fantastic. The house is very cosy and superbly equipped, like nothing we have experienced before. Thank you very much.

Beautiful time in a quiet location
We stayed in the cottage for 4 days with our small family and we all liked it very much. We all remember the beautiful terrace, the view of the lake and the wooden jetty with the little red rowing boat very well.

A house to feel good in!
We immediately felt at home there and had a wonderful time ! The cottage is super equipped. Everything we needed was there. Thanks to the great weather, we were able to spend a lot of time on the large veranda and enjoy the sunset on the jetty in the evening! We will definitely be back!

Totally relaxed holiday
In glorious sunshine, this beautiful hut welcomed us and we immediately occupied the terrace and enjoyed this enchanting lake view. We were immediately fascinated.
The hut is superbly equipped and lacks nothing.
The idyll and tranquillity is simply good for the soul.
Thanks to the beautiful weather, we were able to do many tours and discovered many a pretty spot.

Gladly again :-)
The cottage gets only top marks from us, we wanted for nothing and the accommodation is beautiful! Just like the whole area
Of course, in Norway it has to rain sometimes, otherwise all the waterfalls don't work, but here too we were more lucky than unlucky. Mosquitoes came in the evening but only at the lake and ended all fishing activities, in the cabin insects were not an issue at all.
The children were happy that there was German TV.
The landlady is very nice and reliable, we would love to stay here again!

Everything you need!
We were in the cottage with 4 adults, 1 toddler and dog and felt very comfortable. There is nothing missing that you need for daily life. Everything has been thought of. The view over the lake when you drink your coffee in the morning is balm for the soul
Together with the booking confirmation, we received precise and uncomplicated directions that brought us safely to our destination. We will gladly come again.
