Welcome to our holiday home Haus Waldberg, located in Unterschonau. This beautiful holiday home with 5 bedrooms accommodates up to 10 guests and offers 220 square meters of living space. The house has 5 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, making it the perfect accommodation for large families or groups of friends.
The detached holiday home Haus Waldberg is located in Unterschönau and is the ideal accommodation for a relaxing or active getaway. Directly at the foot of a mountain and next to a stream, as the last house in a small street with a few houses. From here you can walk straight into the mountains.
Extra amenities include a BBQ and a washing machine. A baby cot is also available.
This holiday home features a covered veranda for relaxing evenings and the BBQ is, of course, ready as well. In the immediate vicinity, guests can visit, among others, Oberhof, Erfurt, Steinbach-Hallenberg, Oberhof Bikepark, H2Oberhof Wellness and Water Park, zoos, the well-known hiking and cycling route Rennsteig, Knullfeld, various ski slopes, restaurants, museums, Trusetaller waterfall, and the Hallenberg Ruins. There are 3 parking spaces available on the premises and free parking is available on the street. A maximum of 3 pets are allowed, more upon request. Smoking is not permitted. The beds are made upon arrival so your holiday can start right away.

Possibility for all-inclusive (MTB) weekends with guided MTB tours and MTB training sessions. The holiday home is surrounded by beautiful nature, from green meadows to snow-covered mountain landscapes. Whether you are looking for a relaxing holiday or an adventurous trip, Haus Waldberg is the perfect base. We look forward to welcoming you!

Bitte Aufpassen - Unfaire Geschäftspraktiken

Von dieser Unterkunft können wir nur abraten. Die Erfahrung war von vorne bis hinten frustrierend.

Kommunikation war eine Katastrophe: Man kommt nicht direkt an die Vermieter ran, sondern muss jede Nachricht über die Hausverwaltung schicken. Die leitet das dann irgendwann weiter und irgendwann bekommt man eine Antwort zurück. Selbst bei den kleinsten Fragen dauert vieles lange.

Kautionseinbehaltung grenzt an Abzocke: Bei der Abreise haben wir alles ordentlich gemacht - Haus sauber hinterlassen, Müll rausgebracht, Spülmaschine ausgeräumt, die ganze Liste abgearbeitet. Nur die Betten abziehen haben wir vergessen. Und dafür wird dann einfach der Großteil der Kaution einbehalten? Das ist völlig überzogen und wirkt, als würde man gezielt nach Gründen suchen, um Kautionen zu kassieren.

Fazit: Schlechter Service, komplizierte Kommunikation und unfaire Kautionsabwicklung. Es gibt mehr als genug andere Unterkünfte - tut euch den Stress nicht an. Wer trotzdem hier bucht, sollte wirklich jedes Detail dokumentieren, sonst sieht man sein Geld nicht wieder.

Hello, we are Rob & Elly and Tjeerd & Maaike. The four of us own this beautiful house which we are now completely renovating. We live in the Netherlands ourselves, but we both love Germany and have been going on holiday here for years. We love doing this together with our children and dogs. For us, it has always been a dream to have our own holiday home and receive guests. We also enjoy hosting people on an all-in weekend, during which we will take care of our guests.
