Are you planning a holiday on the coast, do you love sun, sea, beach and socialising?
Our holiday flat is located 300 metres from the beach, close to the centre of the beautiful village of Westkapelle,

The flat was newly renovated in 2023 and can accommodate 2 adults (and one child) and two dogs. There is no garden.
You can rent the flat for a few days or several weeks.
The holiday flat is spread over two floors. The living room, kitchenette, bathroom and hallway are located on the ground floor. There is a rain shower in the bathroom, which can also be used as normal. The hallway has a wardrobe and a coat rack. On the upper floor is the bedroom with a view of the lighthouse and the mill. The bedroom has a double bed, a wardrobe and a small sofa bed (it is possible to add a cot)
My name is Romina Spieß, born in Wuppertal. I have been living in the Netherlands for 16 years.
There are many leisure activities here (including surfing, fishing, golf and horse riding).
Once a week there is a tourist market and often also the traditional ring stabbing (riders on bareback horses stab a small ring with a lance).
There are also many places of interest: two lighthouses that can be visited and a museum.
My favourite thing about Westkapelle is the beach and the wide sea. Various ships pass by every day.

Location and surroundings of object
Westkapelle has one of the most beautiful beaches in the Netherlands and there are many hiking and cycling trails in the area, as well as plenty of opportunities for water sports enthusiasts and anglers. Beautiful towns such as Vlissingen, Middelburg, Domburg and Veere are in the neighbourhood. You can hire normal bikes or e-bikes in the village. If you are looking for sporting activities, you will also find plenty to do here, such as: surfing windsurfing skimboarding kayaking horse riding golf swimming hiking squash bowling fishing Once a week there is a tourist market here and often also the traditional ring stabbing (riders on bareback horses stab a small ring with a lance). There are also many places of interest: two lighthouses that can be visited, a museum, the Kreek (a lake where part of the village has disappeared), a mill, village and traditional festivals. The village centre is protected by a dyke. Domburg lies to the north-east. A dune belt (hiking trail) with the highest dunes in the Netherlands stretches south to Zoutelande. They are up to 48.5 metres NAP. In winter there is also the opportunity to see the Northern Lights from time to time
Travelling by car: Westkapelle is approx. 3 hours from North Rhine-Westphalia. Drive in the direction of Eindhoven. From there, follow the A58 motorway to Vlissingen. (Alternatively, take the route via Antwerp). At the end of the A58 motorway, head towards Koudekerke/Zoutelande. From Zoutelande, follow the signs to Westkapelle.

Great little apartment
Very nice, cozy small apartment on a small quiet side street. Steep stairs lead up to the comfortable bed. Although there is no garden/courtyard, there is a bench in front of the door and the dike is visible, 300m to the sea. Supermarket and dining options are also just around the corner. Very nice and helpful hostess! Everything was perfect for me and my dog!
recommend for: holiday with pet, holiday for singles, beach holiday
