Description
Wartin Mill is located on a 2.5-hectare site on the edge of the village of Wartin. A large swimming pond was excavated here in 2015 and the excavated material was poured into a mill mound. There are car parking spaces on the property. You have to walk about 100 metres to the mill. Your luggage will be transported. There is an 11 kW charging station on the property.
The mill with 68 m² of living space is designed for 2 people, but if you use the sofa bed in the living room, 4 people can also stay overnight.
On the ground floor of the mill there is a kitchen-cum-living room and the bathroom with shower. On the first floor is the bedroom with a beautiful view of the surrounding area. On the first floor is the living room with an even more beautiful and wider view.
If you choose Mühle Wartin as your holiday destination, you can also use the swimming pond. In bad weather, a table tennis table and a professional 9-foot pool table are available in an outbuilding. For people looking to slow down, the bicycle is a suitable means of transport. Two bicycles are available for guests.
The electricity-generating mill can be demonstrated to you when the wind is favourable. When the mill has guests, the windmill and generator are switched off as they make a lot of noise.

Location and surroundings of object
Wartin is a quiet village with around 300 inhabitants. The most important building after the mill is Wartin Castle. Whether you can visit the castle and the garden depends on the owner's mood.
The area around Wartin is hilly and characterised by forests and fields, as is generally the case in the Uckermark. The beautiful and liveable city of Szczecin is only about 40 kilometres away. The towns of Prenzlau, Angermüde and Schwedt are closer.
Travelling by train is also possible. By prior arrangement, we will pick you up from Casekow railway station.

Holidays in a unique location with a great environment
It is already a special location for a vacation, a windmill. The mill is cozy and really good and equipped with high-quality furniture. From the living and bedroom, you look directly into the open field. We even had visits from 3 deer on the property at times. In the kitchen (which we place special value on), everything is of good quality and sufficiently available, whether it be pans, pots, knives, or dishes. The property on which the mill stands is super large and the swimming pond invites you to swim. It is absolutely quiet (no base noise level). The right area to completely unwind. The landlord couple is super friendly and helpful.
All together it is perfect for a relaxing and quiet vacation.

Vacation for Mill Fans
We like to book extraordinary accommodations for our vacation. The mill is such an accommodation. The pictures taken in advance of the accommodation made us curious. We were not disappointed. For vacationers looking for a relaxing time in pure nature, this is a particularly beautiful place. The mill is tastefully furnished and has everything you need. The landlord is very friendly and open-minded. Helpful with excursion tips. Sightseeing in the nearby larger towns and shopping are quickly accessible by car. Those who prefer to leave the car can do so at the Casekow train station and then take the bus (currently SEV) / otherwise by train to the larger cities like Angermünde, Prenzlau, Szczecin, etc. We really enjoyed it.

Little pearl away from the tourist crowds.
The photos do not promise too much: the (new) mill in Wartin is worth a vacation.
The mill stands on a hill on the very large meadow property of the owners. It is four stories high, with one room on each floor. From the windows, there is a beautiful view of the fields, hills, and forests of the area, as well as over the meadow property with the architecturally interesting residential house of the owners. One side of the mill has no windows; it faces the storage halls of an agricultural cooperative. The mill's walls are covered with photovoltaic panels, so presumably all the consumed electricity is generated directly at the building. The interior of the mill is modern, functional, and comfortably furnished. The kitchen is fully equipped with a stove, dishes, pots, refrigerator, and dish towels. The bathroom/toilet also appears inviting, and bath and hand towels are available. A basic supply of cleaning products and equipment is also available. The bedroom is dominated by a comfortable bed. In the living room, a seating area invites you to linger and browse through the many books. The mill does not have central heating. Each room can be individually heated with an electric heater. This works well in most rooms at morning outdoor temperatures of around 5°C - in winter, it might get a bit cool, though. In the outdoor area, a small terrace equipped with chairs and a table invites you to relax. A few remaining tasks are pending in the outdoor area, but they hardly affect usability and the vacation feeling. The surroundings of Wartin invite bike tours directly from the property. For tours along the Oder, it is advisable to drive a short distance by car first. In addition to the natural experience, detours to nearby towns such as Prenzlau, Gartz, and Schwedt are also worthwhile. Quiet and low light pollution are remarkable. The landlord is exceptionally friendly and uncomplicated and provides several pieces of information.

Pure mill romanticism
Unfortunately, we booked at short notice, but that was no problem. They were very friendly to us and showed us everything, even offering to turn the mill. That was really a special moment. The rooms have a great view, and if it gets gloomy or dark, there is a TV in both the bedroom and the living room. However, we didn't use them. The hilly landscape was just too tempting. The amenities are good, and there are also comfortable beds available. In the kitchen with a special table, everything is available that one needs for cooking. In contrast to other holiday apartments we have visited, there was even salt and pepper. It is best to stay there as a couple; otherwise, a sofa bed in the living room has to be unfolded. But you can stay here with up to 4 people. All in all, a special building in an idyllic setting that invites excursions in the area.
