More information is available on our website "Kantorsee(dot)de". The 7500 m² park is situated directly on the lake side, from where you can row the boat, swim or simply gasp at the monastry ruin from the 12 century. What is more, Berlin and the baltic beaches are only a little more than an hours' drive away. Naturally, your children and pets are more than welcome. The house accomodates 7 persons, but there are two more guest beds. You can play football our table tennis inthe park.
During the extensive revovation we paid particular attention to maintaining all historical features. The house looks back on a roughly 200 year history, of which the latest 130 years it was a nursery (mainly flowers). Much of the flory prevailed and sprouts in spring time or early summer.
Inside the house you will not only find modern central heating (conrolled by inernet), but also tile stoves and a fire place. Antique furniture mixes with modern classics, such as Rolf Benz.

Location and surroundings of object

Gramzow is the oldest village of the destrict Uckemark, and dates back 850 years. You easily reach the house by a cobble stone road, which is rarely frequented.
The village offers a church from the 11th century and a monastry ruin. Remarkably, the small village has an impressive railroad museum with histrical locomotives.

Groceries can be shopped by foot, there are two bakers, two restaurants and an ice cream parlor.

Beautiful house by the lake!

We enjoyed the holiday week at the house by Kantor Lake very much despite the moderate weather and also went swimming in Kantor Lake several times, although the "official" swimming lakes nearby have better water quality (recommendation: The large Kuhsee!). For 5 people, a second bathroom or an additional WC would be desirable. The single room on the ground floor can only be accessed through the bedroom or the bathroom, so we preferred not to use it. There is enough space for extra beds, but not all rooms can be darkened.
Technically, everything has worked perfectly - including the rental bicycles. The operation of the modern coffee machine, the sound system, and the dishwasher required some familiarization, but everything is well labeled and explained in the guest folder.
The property is beautiful!

!!!Caution!!! Cheeky comes wants to come further

The only toilet is not working upon my arrival on Saturday, the very nice caretaker unfortunately couldn't fix it - it was a bigger problem - I was told to wait until next Monday - 3 days without a toilet :-(. The next morning around 6 o'clock a loud beeping every 60 seconds - anyone with a dog knows what that means for them... Of course, I couldn't reach anyone on Sunday at 6 AM. After 3 hours of continuous noise, I left with my dog and am now not only not getting a refund for the rental price due to the deplorable conditions but also being charged an additional cleaning fee, even though I didn't even have the opportunity to take a shower during my 17-hour stay there. I definitely left the vacation home cleaner than I found it and am supposed to pay an additional €90 for a final cleaning??? I had brought all my own bedding as well. What an outrageous cheek!!! The only bright spot was actually the caretaker Dimitri :-) Best regards from Oranienburg

vielen Dank für Ihr ausführliches Feedback. Es tut mir sehr leid, dass Sie mit Ihrem Aufenthalt nicht zufrieden waren. Ich habe nach Ihrer Bewertung umgehend mit allen beteiligten Personen gesprochen und habe leider Schwierigkeiten, die geschilderten Vorfälle in dieser Form nachzuvollziehen.

Etwas erstaunt bin ich, weil Sie am Tag vor Ihrer Abreise zufällig meine Frau getroffen haben und ihr gegenüber erwähnt haben, wie gut es Ihnen gefällt. Natürlich habe ich mich auch darüber gefreut. Möglicherweise liegt eine Verwechslung vor. Dieser Widerspruch gibt mir große Rätsel auf und steht in Kontrast zu de Bewertungen von anderen Gästen.

Selbstverständlich nehme ich jede Kritik ernst und bin stets bemüht, unseren Gästen einen angenehmen Aufenthalt zu ermöglichen. Unser Hausmeister sagt, er hätte sich sofort um das Problem mit der Toilette gekümmert. Dass Ihnen dies Unannehmlichkeiten bereitet hat, bedauere ich sehr. Das von Ihnen erwähnte Piepen könnte vielleicht durch ein Rauchmelder mit niedriger Batteriespannung verursacht worden sein. Wir konnten kein Piepen feststellen, haben aber die Batterie getauscht.

Hinsichtlich der Reinigung sagte der Hausmeister, daß der Hund im Garten Spuren hinterlassen hat, dessen Beseitigung viel Zeit in Anspruch nahm. Die 50€ Pauschale für den Hund wurde Ihnen trotzdem nicht in Rechnung gestellt.
Es tut mir leid, sollten Sie tatsächlichen diesen Aufenthalt als negativ empfunden haben.

Falls Sie noch weiteren Klärungsbedarf haben, stehe ich Ihnen natürlich immer gerne persönlich zur Verfügung.

Wonderful to dream away the summer

Beautiful, lovingly renovated house, directly on the lake. We were here with friends and temporarily with our children and totally enjoyed it: sunrises and sunsets, swimming, fishing, relaxing.... Thank you very much! Tiny points of criticism, but on the whole we can forget them! Kitchen a bit small and only one bathroom. We will gladly come back!!!! Holiday at Uckersee

Beautifully renovated house right on the lake with sauna and large garden. Due to the steep staircase, it may not be suitable for very young children, but otherwise suitable for family and friends. Major shops are within walking distance. Reliable and friendly communication with the landlord.

A gem of the Uckermark

The house by Kantorsee has been modernized and furnished with a lot of love and style, offering plenty of space for sleeping and gathering on two floors – but above all, dreamy views of the park and the lake. In the beautiful seasons, one can find an idyllic spot in the extensive park, sit on the terrace or the house's own jetty, and simply enjoy the peace and nature. When the weather is bad, you can still enjoy these beautiful views from the sofa, even with a fireplace. Swimming, badminton, table tennis, and rowing make it never boring. We didn't miss anything in the house either. Perfect to relax from the hustle and bustle of the big city and explore the picturesque Uckermark from here!

Jewel in the Uckermark

Beautiful house with an even more beautiful, huge garden plot and private access to the lake. We spent a great, very relaxing week here with friends. Our highlight was the sauna right by the lake. Sweating with a view of the water, then jumping into the cool water, and later having a beer on the boat dock at sunset – priceless! I cannot say much about the undoubtedly very beautiful surroundings, as we spent most of the time on the property, which made us completely happy.

Idyll by the Lake

An idyll by the lake. The spacious accommodation is located on a truly extensive property with a wide private lake access. The highlight is the brand new and stylish lakeside house with sauna right by the lake. When booking both houses on the property, there is more than enough space for a large group here. The whole experience is complemented by the surroundings with numerous lakes and lightly traveled roads inviting for cycling tours. In an earlier review, partially referred to as "heaven on earth." Criticism of heavy car traffic on the cobblestone road. We could not determine this at all. On the contrary, we found the location to be very calm. The huge property cannot be easily overlooked from the street or by the neighbors. The only thing we would have liked is a larger dining table. Otherwise, we were completely satisfied and will definitely come back.

Relaxing break in a fantastic location

The week in the lovingly designed half-timbered house was the perfect place to relax and provided our group of 7 with a great time. The holiday home is well equipped, and the stoves and fireplace ensured a pleasant climate even in winter. The sauna right by the lake was a highlight. There is only one bathroom with a shower in the house, so you need to coordinate within the group. The landlord, Mr. Persson, and the on-site service staff, Mrs. Zillmer, are excellent hosts. We were thrilled. The landscape was breathtaking.

Pure relaxation!

If you want peace and quiet, this is the right place for sure. The house at the back by the lake is already a highlight when the weather is nice. However, it should also be mentioned that the house is located at the front directly on a cobblestone road. There are not many cars driving there, but still a few trucks zoom by. Pedestrians also have a direct view into the bedrooms! Personally, I missed having a few curtains in front of the windows, so we had the blinds down day and night. Also, fly screens were missing for my taste, to prevent too many insects from getting in. The kitchen equipment is, in my opinion, simple, although there are several options to make coffee, a basic coffee machine was missing. It's also a shame that there is only one toilet, which can be tight if traveling with several people.

Total relaxation

This is by far the largest and most beautiful holiday home we have ever stayed in. The furnishings are a successful mix of old designer furniture, rustic heirlooms and IKEA. The kitchen is small, the fridge large, and there is also a small freezer
When you step out through the back door to the garden, there is a large terrace from which you have a wonderful view of the lake. The first coffee in the morning with this view, you don't want to leave.
The absolute highlight, however, is the 7500 square metre garden, which has many fruit trees and shrubs and borders directly on the lake. There is a large jetty with a designer lounger and the hotel's own rowing boat. A dream for our two children (11+13 years). The lake itself is only used by a few residents for swimming or fishing, so you don't get in anyone's way.
For me, that is the real luxury, the size, the space. You don't meet any strangers, you don't have to arrange when the rowing boat is available or whether the children are too noisy. Total relaxation.
Dear Mr Persson, we will be back!

Great place for the whole family

We really enjoyed our short holiday in Gramzow.
Overworked as we were, we were able to unwind here.
The house has been beautifully renovated and offers plenty of space even for large families.
The property is huge and offers its own jetty at the lake where you can swim. There is also a rowing boat.
In terms of nature, it's all very idyllic - where else can you hear the cuckoo call and see herons?
We had a lot of fun playing table tennis.
Shopping facilities (small supermarket, pharmacy, butcher and baker) are all within walking distance.
And Berlin is only an hour away, in case you miss the big city...
We are very happy to have chosen this house and miss the evening view of the lake.

Incredible and typically Swedish!

Decorated with so much love. The sauna is located in the former boathouse right by the lake. The kitchen had every imaginable equipment, a total of 5 different ways to prepare coffee. Two living rooms (on the ground floor and attic) are practical. The beds are high-quality and comfortable.

Highly recommended!

Secret tip at the lake

Farmhouse on Kantorsee in the village of Gramzow in the Uckermark region. The road leading to it in this section is cobblestone paved = little traffic. The house is comfortably furnished with great respect for the historic building fabric, but a room on the ground floor has been opened in a maisonette style, allowing a lot of light to enter in any weather. The furnishings are of high comfort. In good weather, there is a large garden with its own bathing area and rowing boat. A foggy day in autumn, snuggled up by the fireplace with a view of the old trees and the lakeshore was equally beautiful. I particularly liked the open landscape of the Randow Marsh with vast meadows, dolmens, and many wild apple trees. There are two very good bicycles at the house and a new sauna right on the lakeshore, as is common in Scandinavia. For trips to Berlin and Potsdam, you need approximately 90 minutes by car, you can reach Usedom in about 1 hour and even faster to the historical Stettin (remember your passport) or to Ueckermünde. Thank you for the lovely stay, which I will gladly recommend.
