Travel Conditions (Terms and Conditions) Dear valued guest, Private landlords of vacation apartments and homes (hereinafter referred to collectively as the host) as specified in the current offer. Contractual relationships arise directly between the host and the guest. The following conditions, when effectively agreed upon, become part of the accommodation contract that is established between the guest and the host at the time of booking. They additionally regulate the contractual relationship between the guest and the host in accordance with statutory provisions. § 1 Conclusion of the Accommodation Contract By making a booking, the guest bindingly offers the host the conclusion of the accommodation contract. The booking may be preceded by a non-binding inquiry from the host about their accommodations and current availability. The booking can be made via any booking methods offered by the host. Thus, the guest's booking can be made orally, in writing, by telephone, by fax, or electronically (email, internet). If the guest's booking is made electronically, the guest will receive immediate electronic confirmation of the booking. For the interests of the contracting parties, written form should be chosen. a) The accommodation contract is concluded upon the receipt of the acceptance declaration (booking confirmation) from the host or booking agency, or when the accommodation is made available to the guest on short notice. The acceptance declaration does not need to be in any specific form. Confirmations made orally and by telephone are legally binding for both the guest and the host. b) Bookings made by the booking guest also apply for all persons listed in the booking, for whose contractual obligations the booking guest is responsible as for their own, provided that they have taken on such an obligation by means of a separate explicit declaration. c) As a rule, in the case of bookings made verbally or by telephone, the host will send a written copy of the booking confirmation to the guest. However, the legal validity of the accommodation contract does not depend on the receipt of the written booking confirmation. d) If the host, in response to a specific request from the guest, does not provide a binding booking confirmation but instead submits a binding offer to the guest, the contract becomes legally binding only when the host receives the guest's acceptance declaration without any expansions, restrictions, or other changes within a timeframe and form specified by the host in the offer. § 2 Services and Prices a) The services owed by the host are exclusively determined by the content of the booking confirmation. b) The prices stated in the accommodation contract are final prices which include, unless otherwise agreed between the host and the guest, all ancillary costs. c) Exceptions apply to tourist or resort fees and charges for services which are specified as usage-based in the booking base or catalog, or separately agreed upon (e.g., electricity, gas, water), as well as elective or additional services. These may be listed and charged separately. If the host and guest explicitly agree on usage-based billing or additional services (e.g., bed linen, final cleaning) that the guest is free to use, these ancillary costs will be billed separately. § 3 Deposit, Security, and Payment a) The host may require a deposit. The balance (total price minus deposit) must be received by the host by the payment deadline specified in the booking confirmation at the latest. b) If the deposit or balance payment does not reach the host on time, after a reminder and setting a deadline, the host reserves the right to withdraw from the contract. In this case, the guest is liable for the expenses incurred and loss of profit. The guest may be charged with cancellation fees as per § 7. § 4 Rental Period, Arrival, and Departure a) On the arrival day, the host will make the rental property available to the guest at the time specified in the booking confirmation in a contractually agreed condition. If the guest is to arrive after 6:00 PM, they should notify the host. If this notification is not made, the host reserves the right to otherwise occupy the accommodation if it is a single night stay 2 hours after the agreed provision time, and for more than one night on the next day after 12 PM. b) The guest shall return the rental property to the host by no later than the time specified on the day of departure in the booking confirmation.

Holidays in Maasholm

It was well-kept, quiet, with a good location. The view was great of the lake and the sailing yachts about 200 meters away. One could quickly walk to the Schlei, and to the Baltic Sea along the Schlei through a beautiful landscape in 30 minutes. Everything was perfect for us.
