Description
Cortijo with 4 bedrooms, pool and marvellous sea views. The house is located in the campo at approx. 400 metres above the white villages of Sayalonga / Algarrobo.
The rustic country house is approx. 30 minutes by car from the coast.
It has 4 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms with shower, living room/kitchen with fireplace and TV, 2 covered verandas, barbecue for use with charcoal and patio furniture.
The accommodation
The country house has around 100 m² of living space, a living room with open-plan kitchenette, 2 bathrooms (renovated in 2021/22 - one of which is en-suite) and 4 bedrooms with wall cupboards as well as a beautiful porch and pool.
2 air conditioning units: 1 living room and 1 in the hallway of the bedrooms (both new November 2023)
The well-equipped kitchen was newly installed in 2021 and has a modern dishwasher (AEG quality); oven, microwave and induction hob. There is also a new free-standing fridge with three freezer compartments. Kitchen herbs (rosemary, laurel) are planted in the garden, in direct proximity to the brick-built outdoor barbecue.
The entire house and the terrace are decorated with handmade traditional terracotta tiles, which have been made and processed from clay in the region for centuries.
From the 100 m² outdoor terrace and the covered veranda you can enjoy a marvellous view of the Mediterranean Sea and the coastline, whether in the sun or in the shade.
Air conditioning in the hallway to the bedrooms ensures pleasant temperatures at night, even in the height of summer. There is a further air conditioning unit in the living room. There is also a good pedestal fan.
For heating in cooler months you can use the air conditioning and a pellet stove in the living room, there is also a mobile gas stove.
WLAN, new washing machine, SAT TV, towels and bed linen are included in the price.

Location and surroundings of object
On arrival you will meet the property manager (German, English, Spanish) in Sayalonga and will be accompanied to the house.
The access road from Sayalonga to the finca is approx. 4 km long, mostly cemented, and can be driven on with a normal car.
There is also a 6.5 km long natural road directly to the sea, which can also be driven in a normal car - the beautiful beach in El Morche can be reached in 25 minutes.
The airport is approx. 50 km away, Malaga approx. 45 km.

We bought and renovated the house in 2021. A relaxed oasis of well-being for us... We use the house ourselves - but are tied to work and school holidays. We like to cook, enjoy the pool and the view. Nice if you like it too ;-)
