Description
Brightness, urban modernity and generosity characterize the villa with the beautiful name de Flora. The villa playfully takes on elements of typical Istrian architecture and rusticity, without having to compensate for its modern, comfortable standards. The beautiful villa de Flora occupies a special place in our portfolio. A well-designed garden landscape with a Mediterranean atmosphere and a beautiful view of the green cultural landscape of Istria, which extends beyond the property, welcomes the guest in the most friendly way. The heart of the garden is a 50 square meter Roman pool with an outdoor shower. You can relax on the surrounding easy-care vinyl wicker deck chairs or on one of the many covered terraces. There is also a large outdoor dining room, ideal for evening gatherings at the communal grill, which is permanently installed within the building. We enter the interior between the Istrian stone pillars and are greeted by bright, spacious and open living spaces. The huge living room with a fireplace and LCD TV is covered with a dark wooden floor that makes a beautiful contrast to the white walls of the brightly lit rooms. The open dining room is conveniently furnished with bright tiles, the long dining table is located in the open kitchen, which is separated from the dining room by an American counter. Fully equipped (refrigerator, gas hob, oven, microwave oven, dishwasher, coffee machine, toaster and much more) the white built-in kitchen offers the most modern comfort. Large-format pictures and selected decorative objects emphasize the modern character of the building. All bedrooms are spacious. There are 3 double rooms available, if necessary, an extra bed can be placed in 2 of the 3 rooms. The seventh person traveling with you can be accommodated in a nice single room. The 3 bathrooms in the house are very richly tiled and have their own individual touch - each in a harmonious high-end design based on the Italian model. In addition to covered terraces, on the first floor there is also a classic baladur, a typical element of Istrian architecture, i.e. a covered balcony. Excellent for cooling down, relaxing and enjoying. Speaking of enjoyment: For fresher evenings, the home tavern invites you to a rustic get-together - experience the hospitality of Istrian cuisine with home-made dishes and a good glass of Trapan. The villa is located on the outskirts of the town of Galižana, the oldest town in Istria, whose settlement dates back to prehistoric times. They are rightly proud of the unique dialect and Istrian culture. One more reason to accept the tradition of construction and combine it with modernity, which the owner really achieved in the most exemplary way. Even today, the charming place is strongly focused on agriculture. Wine, olives and livestock are grown. You can see the results of indigenous products in the nice restaurants and bars of Galižana. In the summer, festivals with folklore customs are held in the village, which are worth visiting. The nearest larger town is Vodnjan, which is only 4 km away. From the picturesque place, which is especially appreciated by lovers of art and culture, there is a wonderful view of the Brijuni Islands. In the port town of Fažana, which is only 5 km away (by the way, it also has a beautiful, clean pebble beach), you can not only walk along the harbor promenade and visit the fish market, but you can also take boats to the Brijuni Islands. Here the visitor is offered a unique game of nature. Beautiful animal species with a rare rich flora are united here in one place. If you also like to pay tribute to urban life, we recommend a visit to Pula, 6 km away. Pula is an impressive city with an equally impressive history. Evidence of different eras has been preserved throughout the city for centuries. The most famous is probably the Roman amphitheater, which is known for being the best preserved. But in Pula, not only cultural and historical interest is satisfied. There is much to discover in the largest city of the Istrian peninsula. Furthermore, there are several wild, untouched beaches along the coast. The possibilities of water sports are numerous. A little far from the hustle and bustle of larger cities, you are always happy to return to the large villa de Flora and in a beautiful, traditional place you find a connection with Istrian life with the desired peace and relaxation.
