The holiday flat is located in a closed, quiet and very well-kept complex approx. 200 m above Lake Garda. The flat is very well laid out and is on the 1st floor. It has a living/dining room, a fully equipped kitchen, a bathroom with shower and a bedroom. A sofa bed in the living room provides additional sleeping space for a total of 4 people.
The equipment includes sufficient crockery, cutlery, pots and pans, pillows,
Duvets, towels & bed linen (on request) as well as TV and WLAN.
The highlight, however, is the unique view from the balcony. From there you have a direct view of Lake Garda, the pool and the surrounding mountains.
The flat also has its own garage.
The caretaker will welcome you to hand over the keys.
Swimming cap is compulsory.

Location and surroundings of object
The place where your holiday flat is located is called Gaino. A small village in Toscolano Maderno at the foot of Monte Pizzoccolo and Monte Castello. You can find everyday necessities in a small corner shop, fresh bread rolls for breakfast are available from the village bakery and delicious dishes can be found in the Osteria Cantagai. An absolute must-see is the church of San Michele, from where you can also enjoy a fantastic, picturesque view. It can also be seen in a scene of the ZDF series "Die Albertis".
From the resort, you can set off on easy walks and hikes directly behind the resort, for example through the famous "paper mill valley" (Valle delle Cartiere). Nearby is the "Scuderia Castello" riding centre and about 2 km away is the 18-hole Bogliaco golf course, the third oldest in Italy.
The nearest beach is just 5 minutes away by car and there are others in the immediate vicinity. For our friends on four paws there is also a very nice (free) dog beach, also just a few minutes away from the resort. Dogs can also be taken off their leads there from 7 pm.
Shopping facilities, doctors, pharmacies, banks, restaurants, etc. can all be found in Toscolano Maderno (all about 5 minutes away by car). The weekly market is on Thursdays from 07:00-13:00.
The nearest well-known holiday resorts are Verona (75 km), Tignale (20 km), Salò (12 km), Desenzano (30 km). The ferry Toscolano Maderno-Torri del Benaco, which runs all year round, takes you to the other side of Lake Garda, where the well-known towns of Garda (Gardaland), Bardolino and Malcesine are located. The city metropolises of Milan and Venice can be reached by train from Desenzano in approx. 1.5 hours.

Benvenuti in our beautiful holiday flat. I am Emanuela, Italian, but I have been living in Germany for many years. I am married and have 3 grown-up children who also love their mother's homeland and enjoy spending their holidays there. I am originally from Trentino. At Lake Garda and especially on the west coast, the typical charm of Italy, which I love very much, is still very much in evidence. The surrounding nature with its colours and scents is the true protagonist of this corner of the world. Italy remains my beautiful homeland and I visit it as often as I can.
