Description
The well-kept 4-star holiday village The Garda Village is located directly on Lake Garda with its own private beach in the very popular village of Sirmione. The holiday complex has all the amenities for a pleasant family holiday. Holiday guests have several pools (adult pool, children's pool, Jacuzzi/whirlpool and a lazy river) as well as a restaurant, bar, playground, entertainment, mini club, tennis court, mini golf course, mini market and many other services at their disposal. The town centre of Sirmione is approx. 3 km away and the shopping centre is 1 km away. A stay in this holiday village can easily be combined with a visit to one of the many theme parks such as Gardaland, Movieland or the Caneva water park.
The beautiful Maxicaravan mobile home for up to 6 people has one bedroom with a double bed and two bedrooms with 2 single beds each. In the living room you will find a well-equipped kitchenette with pots and pans, crockery, cutlery and a fridge with freezer compartment. The bathroom is equipped with a washbasin and a shower. The WC is separate. SAT-TV and air conditioning are included. Lockers for valuables can be used free of charge at reception. Bed linen and towels can be rented on site (please reserve when booking). The covered seating area with table and chairs invites you to relax in comfort, while the children can let off steam in the playground or by the pool. Travelling time from the Ital. Border approx. 1,5h. Half or full board can be booked on site on request. A car park is included. Note: If you need more than one accommodation, this is usually possible with us, as we have several properties of the same type.
DAY OF ARRIVAL + LENGTH OF STAY
In the period from 22 June to 31 August 2024, the arrival and departure days are Wednesday and Saturday, the minimum length of stay is 7 nights. In the remaining period, the minimum stay is 3 nights (daily arrival possible). Please note: If for any reason you are unable to arrive on the scheduled day of arrival, it is of course possible to check in on the following day (please let us know before you arrive). The same applies if you wish to depart earlier. Departure the day before is also possible in this case. However, the rental period/rental price specified for booking remains unchanged.
BEACH
The holiday complex has its own pebble and sandy beach. This beach can be reached within a short walking distance. As the beach is shallow, it is ideal for families with small children. At the lake you will find a kiosk/bar for a snack or an ice cream. You can hire sailing boats, motorboats and pedalos and sign up for the surf school.
POOL
The holiday village impresses with its well-kept pool facilities. The wonderfully refreshing water attracts young and old to swim, bathe and splash around. An adult pool, a children's pool with various water games, a whirlpool/jacuzzi and a lazy river are available to guests. Sunshades and sunbeds are available free of charge at the edge of the pool.
FAMILY FRIENDLY
The entertainment team provides plenty of entertainment for young and old from Sunday to Friday. Various games and activities for children and teenagers are offered in the Mini, Junior and Teen Club. Younger guests have their own playground and playroom. A team of professional entertainers is on hand to entertain your children with games and sports activities such as football, basketball, beach volleyball and archery. Every week, the entertainment team organises a performance in which all children can take part. In the evening, a mini disco and various entertainment shows take place daily.
LEISURE AND SPORT
Look forward to sports facilities such as a mini golf course, tennis courts, football pitches and an archery range. Canoes, motorboats, jet skis and pedalos are available for hire. There is also a beach volleyball court on the private beach. Finally, sport is the strong point of the holiday village, with 4 tennis courts and 2 multi-purpose courts with modern and functionally equipped changing rooms. If you would like to go on a bike tour, you can hire bikes at the holiday village. For dance enthusiasts, the entertainment team offers daily Zumba and dance lessons.
SHOPPING
In the mini-market you will find fresh fruit and vegetables, bread, meat, cheese and other groceries. Would you like to do some larger shopping? The centre of Sirmione is just a few minutes' drive from the holiday village.
CATERING
The flat has a well-equipped kitchen with crockery, cutlery and pots and pans. Shopping facilities are also close by. You can of course also make use of the half-board or full-board service at favourable conditions. You are welcome to book this on site (no pre-booking necessary). You will be entertained with live music and dancing in the resort's various bars. The pizzeria/restaurant with its marvellous lake view offers buffets, themed evenings and barbecues. Those who like to snack on sweets or enjoy a refreshing ice cream will find a large selection in the candy shop.

LOCATION
The holiday village borders directly on the beach and is therefore ideal for families with small children. The old town centre of Sirmione is just 3 km away.
LOCATION AND SURROUNDINGS
Sirmione is located on the southern shore of Lake Garda. The mainland juts out narrowly and for 4 kilometres into Lake Garda, making this popular little town the icing on the cake of the southern shore of Lake Garda in the truest sense of the word. A beautiful moated castle sits enthroned next to the only bridge and the colourful, romantically winding old town will make your holiday a dream. To the north of the old town centre, the tip of the island invites you to take an idyllic walk with an enchanting view of the lake. Visit the "Grottoes of Catullus", the ruins of one of the largest Roman villas at the end of the cypress and olive groves or enjoy a stay in one of the modern thermal baths. Sirmione has been an important spa town since Roman times thanks to the sulphurous Boiola spring, which emerges from the bottom of Lake Garda next to the peninsula. A small, well-organised weekly market with excellent food stalls and outstanding food products from small farms in the region is held every Friday in the Lugana district. In Colombare di Sirmione, you can stroll through the market on Mondays. A city trip to Verona, with its Roman past, the famous balcony of Romeo and Juliet and of course the world-famous Arena with its open-air performances, is just 45 minutes away by car. You can even get to Verona in just 20 minutes by train. To the west are the cities of Brescia, Bergamo and Milan, which invite you to go on an extensive shopping tour. Even picturesque Venice is within easy reach of Desenzano. A trip around Lake Garda is also always an experience. But holidaymakers looking for peace and quiet will also get their money's worth in the Desenzano area. The beautiful, typically Lombard town of Lonato is located around six kilometres west of Desenzano. It has a magnificent baroque cathedral with a mighty dome and a towering town tower. From the ruined castle "Rocca" on a hill, which towers above the striking historic town centre, you can enjoy a magnificent view over the moraine hills as far as the lake. Lake Garda offers an exceptionally wide range of leisure parks, zoos, climbing parks and swimming pools. For example, Castelnuovo del Garda is home to Gardaland, one of the largest amusement parks in Italy. Families get their money's worth here, with over 40 attractions ranging from a white water ride to a fairy-tale themed world, there is something for young and old alike. Right next door, the Gardaland SEA LIFE Aquarium is waiting to introduce visitors to the underwater world. Breathtaking stunt shows await visitors at Movieland in Lazise. Special effects provide the necessary action. The Parco Natura Viva in Bussolengo (just a few minutes by car from the south-eastern shore of the lake) is a zoo dedicated to the protection of endangered species and is home to a number of endangered species such as tigers, leopards and the little panda. Visitors can go on safari on a walking trail and get close to animals such as rhinos, hippos and monkeys, separated only by natural barriers.
