Description
The accommodation is located in the beautiful Camping Stella Maris holiday park. The holiday village is located by the deep blue sea in Umag, Croatia. The centre of Umag is only a few minutes away. As the holiday park is within walking distance of the sea, it is ideal for families with small children. The numerous facilities and play options make the holiday park unique and particularly child-friendly. In addition to a large pool for children and adults right next to the mobile homes, there is also a mini club/entertainment programme for children of all ages. Of course there is also an entertainment programme for adults. The pool area of the neighbouring Resort Stella Maris holiday park with a great children's pool and water playground can be used free of charge. The resort also has several sports fields and a restaurant. WiFi is available free of charge in the holiday park. The neighbouring Resort Stella Maris holiday park also has an indoor swimming pool on the other side of the road for bad weather days.
The modern Mobilehome Superior offers space for a maximum of 6 people, including at least two children up to the age of 12. It has a bedroom with a double bed and a bedroom with two single beds. The sofa bed in the living room sleeps two more. There is also a satellite TV in the living room. The flat has a well-equipped kitchenette with a cooker, crockery, cutlery, pots and pans, filter coffee machine, dishwasher and fridge. Both bathrooms are equipped with a shower, WC and washbasin. The terrace with table and chairs invites you to relax, while the children can let off steam in the playground or by the pool. Air conditioning, bed linen and towels are also included. Barbecuing is permitted, but only with an electric barbecue, which you must bring yourself. Tourist tax is included. On request, breakfast or half board can also be booked on site at the Stella Maris Resort opposite. Travelling time from the Croatian border approx. 20 minutes. Note: If you need more than one accommodation, this is usually possible with us, as we have several properties of the same type.
DAY OF ARRIVAL + LENGTH OF STAY
In the period from 25.05.-07.09.2024 the minimum length of stay is 5 nights (daily arrival possible). In the remaining period, the minimum stay is 3 nights (daily arrival possible). Please note: If for any reason you are unable to arrive on the scheduled arrival day, it is of course also possible to check in on the following day (please let us know before you arrive). The same applies if you wish to depart earlier. Departure the day before is also possible in this case. However, the rental period/rental price specified for booking remains unchanged.
BEACH
The Mediterranean Sea is just a few minutes' walk from the Camping Stella Maris holiday park. Here you can enjoy the sun and swim. Guests can also enjoy various water sports such as sailing, windsurfing, parasailing and motorboats. There are two different beaches, one with fine sand and one with a paved floor and deckchairs. The sunbeds and parasols on the beach can be hired. The clean sea water has been awarded the Blue Flag by the Foundation of Environmental Education.
POOL
The holiday complex itself has a 201'8 newly built pool with sun loungers and parasols. There is also a newly built children's pool. There is also a restaurant right next to the pool area. In the neighbouring Stella Maris Resort holiday park you will also find a large outdoor swimming pool and a children's pool which you can use free of charge. Here you will find everything to make your heart beat faster. The children's pool is equipped with a large pirate ship and a water playground. Sunshades and sunloungers are available (for a fee).
FAMILY-FRIENDLY
In the low and high season, a group of experienced entertainers will liven up your stay in a gentle way. Water gymnastics, Zumba, aerobics, group dances and similar attractions take place every day. Various clubs offer children from 8 months to 17 years great opportunities to have fun. Whether it's team sports, mini shows, pool games or theme parties, there's sure to be something for everyone! Your children will have the opportunity to take part in evening performances as protagonists. There is also a mini disco for the children in the evening. If you want to do some sport, there is plenty of choice.
LEISURE AND SPORT
Those who want to keep fit on holiday are spoilt for choice. The entertainment team puts together a varied fitness programme for every day with water gymnastics, Zumba, aerobics, group dancing and much more. The Stella Maris resort also offers tennis courts, ping-pong tables, cycle paths and walking trails. At the Stella Maris Resort you will find a self-service bike hire service, which can also be used by guests of Camping Stella Maris. Outside the resort you will find a world-renowned tennis centre, handball and volleyball courts, a riding club and diving facilities.
SHOPPING
The holiday park is only a short distance from the centre of Umag. There you will find everything you could wish for. Clothes, shoes, food or jewellery. If you only need something small, you will find various shops in the holiday park that offer everything you need.
CATERING
The accommodation has a well-equipped kitchen with cooker, crockery, cutlery, saucepans, fridge and dishwasher. Shopping facilities are also close by. The holiday complex has a restaurant serving a wide variety of dishes. At the Stella Maris Resort you will find a classic pizzeria as well as a buffet restaurant, café bars, a beach bar, a fast food corner and a sack bar. If you would like to make use of breakfast or half board, you are welcome to book this on site (advance booking is not necessary).

LOCATION
The holiday park is located within walking distance of the sea and is therefore ideal for families with small children. It has a favourable geographical location for excursions to Umag and the beautiful Brijuni Islands. The famous Istralandia water park is also just a few minutes away by car.
LOCATION AND SURROUNDINGS
The small town of Umag with its harbour is a well-known business and tourist centre in Istria. A long time ago, the Roman nobility decided to use Umag as a summer residence. This is still visible today in the pretty Venetian houses, the town walls and the towers. In the town centre you will find many different shops, from boutiques to food shops and a shopping centre. You will also find various restaurants and cafés in the pretty streets of the old town centre. Explore Umag by bike. There are specialised shops in the town that will provide you with the right equipment. If you like travelling at night, a visit to the Casino Elite is a good idea. In addition to the usual games of chance, you will find good music and fresh drinks there. Visit the oldest lighthouse in Savudrija-Salvore on the Adriatic, for example during a bike tour. Perhaps you will be lucky enough to be in Umag during an ATP tennis tournament at the famous ATP stadium in Stella Maris. Between the two harbour towns of Umag and Pula there are several recommendable towns that are certainly worth a visit. Fazana, Rovinj, Vrsar, Porec or even Pula and Umag itself offer numerous restaurants, shopping opportunities and historical buildings that are certainly worth a visit. Various amusement parks such as Istralandia, Aquacolors or the Glavani climbing park offer great opportunities to have fun with the whole family. For nature lovers, we recommend a visit to the Brijuni Islands or the Jama-Grotta Beradine. Fish lovers are in the right place in this region! Here you can find all kinds of fish, which is prepared in many different ways. You will also find good wine in Croatia. So if you want to indulge yourself, this is the place to be. There is also plenty of entertainment in the evening. Croatians love parties, music and socialising, whether in a discotheque, on the beach promenade or in a small alleyway. So your evening entertainment is guaranteed. The hinterland of the coastal strip offers many forests, cycle paths and hiking trails, so those seeking peace and quiet or sports enthusiasts will also get their money's worth. The famous weekly markets are usually held daily in Porec, Rovinj and Pula.
