Located in Desenzano del Garda near the Sirmione peninsula, directly on the lake shore, the well-equipped and modern holiday village of San Francesco offers an active and relaxing holiday for the whole family. The centrepiece is the attractively designed pool area, which will make children's hearts beat faster. Lake Garda, with its clear waters and wide range of sports facilities, also offers the ideal setting for relaxing in idyllic surroundings. The holiday village has all the amenities for a relaxing family holiday. Beach, pools, restaurants, bar, mini-market, entertainment, mini club and of course many sports facilities. The holiday village is also just a few minutes away from the many leisure and water parks such as Gardaland, Movieland and Caneva. Coin-operated washing machines and dryers are also available to holiday guests.
The beautiful 32 square metre Mobilehome Garda Suite Deluxe offers space for a maximum of 5 people (including babies). The accommodation has a bedroom with a double bed and direct access to one of the two bathrooms, as well as a children's room with two single beds. If required, the sofa bed in the combined living and dining area offers an additional sleeping option. The well-equipped kitchenette in the living area is fitted with a gas hob, crockery, cutlery, pots and pans, microwave, kettle, filter coffee machine and a fridge with freezer compartment. There are two fully equipped bathrooms in the accommodation, both of which have a shower, washbasin, WC and hairdryer. The covered terrace with garden is equipped with a table, chairs, two loungers and a barbecue, so that nothing stands in the way of a cosy barbecue evening with family and friends. SAT-TV, air conditioning, a safe and a parking space are already included in the rental price. If required, bed linen and towels can also be rented on site (please reserve when booking). Families with small children also have the option of hiring a baby cot, a baby bath and a high chair (please also reserve when booking). WIFI in the accommodation is available for a fee. Travelling time from the ital. Border is about 2 hours. Note: If you need more than one accommodation, this is usually possible with us, as we have several properties of the same type.
DAY OF ARRIVAL + LENGTH OF STAY
In the period from 06.07.-30.08.2024 arrival and departure day is Saturday or Wednesday (minimum stay is 7 nights). In the period from 15.06.-05.07.24 and from 07.09.-13.09.2024 the minimum stay is 5 nights (daily arrival possible). During the rest of the year, the minimum stay is 3 nights (daily arrival possible). Please note: If for any reason you are unable to arrive on the scheduled arrival day, it is of course also possible to check in on the following day (please let us know before you arrive). The same applies if you wish to depart earlier. Departure the day before is also possible in this case. However, the rental period/rental price specified for booking remains unchanged.
BEACH
The holiday complex has direct access to the beach. The beautiful grass/pebble beach offers a breathtaking view of the Sirmione peninsula. In the shade of the tall plants, you can enjoy moments of pure relaxation and recreation. There is also a jetty with buoys, which can be hired at reception.
POOL
The large pool area of the San Francesco holiday village is the pride of the entire complex and a paradise for all water lovers. Surrounded by enchanting vegetation, it offers pure relaxation and fun: it has three large lagoon pools with varying water depths. The very large children's pool with lots of fun water games ensures that the youngest guests have a great time. Guests also have access to a sun terrace with free sun loungers and parasols.

FAMILY-FRIENDLY
The motivated team of experienced entertainers offers an extensive entertainment programme. This includes various aquagym classes and enjoyable evening entertainment. The spacious pool area makes every child's heart beat faster. The little ones can have fun in the shallow paddling pool or are lovingly looked after in the mini club during the summer months. In addition to the mini club, there is of course also a playground where children can let off steam and make new friends. Families with small children can hire a cot, high chair and baby bath on site.
LEISURE AND SPORT
Water lovers in particular will find that the San Francesco holiday complex offers plenty of leisure activities. The resort itself has its own canoe hire. If you wish, you can also go sailing on Lake Garda or take a swim in the clear and refreshing water. It is also possible to take part in boat trips on excursion boats. The special feature of this holiday village is its own bathing beach, which leads directly into the lake. You can also play football, beach volleyball, basketball and tennis.
SHOPPING
There is a supermarket in the holiday complex where you can find various items such as fresh fruit and vegetables, bread, cold cuts, cheese and many other groceries. The ideal place to stock up on groceries and everyday items. The resort also has a bazaar with tobacco products, newspapers, children's toys, beachwear, souvenirs and camping items.
CATERING
The accommodation has a well-equipped kitchen with gas cooker, crockery, cutlery, pots and pans, microwave, kettle, filter coffee machine and a fridge with freezer compartment. Shopping facilities are also close by. Of course, you also have the opportunity to indulge yourself in the restaurant within the holiday complex. The varied Italian cuisine awaits you.

LOCATION AND SURROUNDINGS
Desenzano del Garda is located on the south-western shore of Lake Garda. Desenzano is the largest town on Lake Garda and one of the most important commercial centres in northern Italy. This can also be seen from the beautifully restored merchant houses as you stroll through the old town centre. The many upmarket shops, the large marina and the elegant promenade along the lake are evidence of the town's continuing prosperity. Desenzano is also the seat of a bishop, home to secondary schools and an attractive shopping destination, and offers a colourful nightlife with its many bars and discos. In short, the ideal place to spend a varied and enjoyable holiday. Desenzano is one of the few towns on Lake Garda with a railway station and is therefore easily accessible by public transport. Every Tuesday there is a very large weekly market in Desenzano on the historic Caesare Battisti promenade with a wide variety of stalls and vendors. A city trip to Verona with its Roman past, the famous balcony of Romeo and Juliet and, of course, the world-famous Arena with its open-air performances can be reached in just 45 minutes by car. You can even get to Verona by train in just 20 minutes. To the west are the cities of Brescia, Bergamo and Milan, which invite you to go on an extensive shopping tour. Even picturesque Venice is within easy reach of Desenzano. A trip around Lake Garda is also always an experience. But holidaymakers looking for peace and quiet will also get their money's worth in the Desenzano area. The beautiful, typically Lombard town of Lonato is located around six kilometres west of Desenzano. It has a magnificent baroque cathedral with a mighty dome and a towering town tower. From the ruined castle "Rocca" on a hill, which towers over the striking historic town centre, you can enjoy a magnificent view over the moraine hills as far as the lake. Lake Garda offers an exceptionally wide range of leisure parks, zoos, climbing parks and swimming pools. For example, Castelnuovo del Garda is home to Gardaland, one of the largest amusement parks in Italy. Families get their money's worth here, because with over 40 attractions ranging from white water rides to a fairytale theme world, there is something for young and old alike. Right next door, the Gardaland SEA LIFE Aquarium is waiting to introduce visitors to the underwater world. Breathtaking stunt shows await visitors at Movieland in Lazise. Special effects provide the necessary action. The Parco Natura Viva in Bussolengo (just a few minutes by car from the south-eastern shore of the lake) is a zoo dedicated to the protection of endangered species and is home to a number of endangered species such as tigers, leopards and the little panda. Visitors can go on safari on a walking trail and get close to animals such as rhinos, hippos and monkeys, separated only by natural barriers.
