The modern, cosy 65 m² holiday flat is located in the renovated three-storey house from 1790 in the former barn and stable part of the old farmhouse.
The holiday flat has been renovated and furnished using building biology materials. The spacious, high-ceilinged living room with its open half-timbering and glazed threshing floor (Grot Dör) creates a unique atmosphere. The contemporary furnishings offer space for up to 4 holidaymakers, an extension to 6 people for a short break is possible with a sofa bed in the living area.

You can park your car conveniently in the hotel's own car park and thanks to the wallbox (electric charging station) you can also charge your electric car without any problems. Bicycles are also available for you to explore the beautiful surroundings.

Location and surroundings of object
The village of Kröte is located in the west of the Lüchow-Dannenberg district, a few kilometres south of the B 493 federal road (Lüchow-Uelzen). Here are the first slopes of the so-called Hohe Drawehn. The landscape is gently rolling and densely wooded. The village is surrounded by meadows, fields and woodland. These idyllic surroundings are ideal for relaxing cycle tours and long walks.
The village itself consists of around 10 houses and used to be a so-called small round village. From Kröte you can reach the district towns of Lüchow or Uelzen with all shopping facilities, doctors, offices, schools and a wide range of leisure activities in about 20 minutes by car. There is a heated forest swimming pool in the nearby village of Wittfeitzen.
Quiet location, as there is very little through traffic. A pair of cranes nests in the neighbourhood every year, which can always be observed in the fields and make you feel the uniqueness of nature with their impressive mating calls.
A trip to the Elbe and the half-timbered towns of Hitzacker, Lüchow, Dannenberg or Salzwedel is worthwhile whatever the weather. In Uelzen there is the Hundertwasser railway station and a large farmers' market on Wednesdays and Saturdays. The landlords are happy to provide further tips for excursions, hikes, cycle tours or cultural events on site.

By car: From the south, west and north via Uelzen in the direction of Lüchow on the B 493, after approx. 20 km turn right after Kröte.
From the east via Lüchow in the direction of Uelzen, turn left after approx. 20 km. In the village, the half-timbered house no. 5 is on the right-hand side.
By train to Uelzen railway station. (20 km), Schnega railway station (12 km) Continue by bus, taxi or bicycle.
