Due to a training course in Husum, I spent 10 nights in Michels Koje. The location is ideal: pleasantly quiet yet close to the center. The apartment is very clean and nicely furnished – luxury: a second television in the bedroom. What I initially saw as a disadvantage turned out to be an advantage in the hot June: Due to the close buildings, one has to turn on the light during the day even in sunshine, especially since the windows are directly facing the neighbors' entrance areas. However, the apartment remained pleasantly cool even on hot days. The bedroom feels slightly claustrophobic due to the tiny window directly below the ceiling and the visually oversized bed for the room. Since I was the sole user of the apartment, this was fortunately not a problem for me. The small sink with an oversized faucet in the bathroom is somewhat impractical, as water easily splashes onto the floor. A floor mop would therefore be sensible. It would also have been nice to have a swept entrance area (outside) before arrival and a refrigerator that was already turned on, which took almost a day to cool sufficiently after my arrival. Overall, however, these are minor issues. The quiet, central location, cleanliness, generally pleasant atmosphere, and good value for money clearly outweigh these.

Beautiful small holiday apartment in a quiet location. Everything important is within walking distance. Actually everything you need is there. We were there for the second time. We have one note. Please provide a broom.

We were in Michels Koje for a week in March. It was really nice. The apartment is cute and cozy. We lacked nothing. Just one small thing, a room broom for sweeping would be optimal. Since I am over 60, I couldn't crawl on the floor with the dustpan to sweep. My back can't handle that anymore. The location was perfect for us. Not far from the supermarket, harbor, souvenir shops, restaurants, cafés, and so on. We were also lucky that the Crocus Blossom Festival was on the weekend. What I didn't know when booking. Really nice small apartment in the heart of the city, with a small courtyard where you can also let the dog run. We felt very comfortable during our two-week stay. The sink in the bathroom is very small due to the construction. But you can manage with that. A small basic supply of the necessary cleaning products (glass cleaner, bathroom cleaner,...) would have been nice to clean the surfaces a bit during a two-week stay. All in all, however, everything was great.

The apartment offers what you need, it appears well-maintained and clean. The location in the old town makes it easy to experience the beautiful port city. I was disappointed that the apartment hardly offers a view because the walls of the adjacent houses are so close. This makes it dark and cool inside, and I needed electric light even during the day when I wanted to read or paint. The service from the landlord was friendly and responsive. It was not a problem that I accidentally stayed one night too long, - except that I had to pay for it, of course - as fortunately there was no immediate follow-up rental. A tea strainer would complete the good equipment.
