The house is really beautiful and the location unbeatable! The weather did not present itself in its best light, but in such a beautiful accommodation, we still had a nice vacation. Perhaps the narrow staircase upstairs is not suitable for everyone. It didn't bother us.

The little house has a great location and has been tastefully and lovingly renovated, furnished, and decorated. The very nice details are all well coordinated, and one feels very comfortable. However, this unfortunately only applies to the interior of the house! It is surprising that the outdoor area was unfortunately the opposite. The house has two windows with flower boxes next to the front door. This is the first thing you see when you approach the house and thus the first impression you get! These flower boxes were full of weeds and wilted dandelions and quite a bit of dried-up brush. This had been the case for years, a resident from the street revealed to us, and exactly the same had already been described by a guest in their review from 2019. Why was nothing changed about it? One could also add some decoration, e.g., pebbles and shells, or similar. to introduce that needed no care! The terrace was not swept and very dirty from pollen and leaves, with several large dandelions around the terrace. Here too, the knee-high weeds had the upper hand in the small flower bed! We swept, cleared the window sills of pollen, removed the weeds everywhere, and planted the flower boxes with fresh flowers. A waste calendar from 2017 was also not helpful, as the guests have to take the bins out themselves, so the bins were very full. We received a copy from the neighbor from 2020 and filed it in the guest folder. In the confirmation, we did receive the information on the rhythm in which the different bins should be taken out (weekly, bi-weekly, etc.). ), but it would also be better service here if one could immediately receive appropriate information about which bin to put out on which day during the stay. At the very least, a current waste calendar must be found in the accommodation! Instead, there are old ones from previous years with 2017, the most recent one!!! Presumably, previous guests could not put the bins out correctly, and thus the bins were partially very full. We found 2 empty bags for charcoal for the grill in the shed and then disposed of them. Inside, the house was mostly clean; however, especially with the announced disinfections due to Corona, it's a shame that there are still children's hands, presumably from chocolate cream, on the kitchen counters! In the bathroom, there was still a cotton pad on the floor. These are all minor flaws that are easy to fix and worth it because despite the criticism, we have grown so fond of the little house that we would have preferred to pack it up and take it with us. We really enjoyed our days and would have liked to stay longer.

Daytime bike tours, swimming, museums, city tours with Nordic charm, all within a pleasantly manageable radius (Schlei, St. Peter Ording, Emil Nolde House and Garden, Gottorf Castle, Haithabu, Holm, Flensburg..). In the evenings to the cozy Skipperhus or just a few steps to the harbor of Husum. For us, a successful mix with good service and uncomplicated handling.

We had a wonderful week and we were very pleased with the vacation apartment again. A few things you can improve or attend to are: -a long broom for the floor in the house so one can sweep a bit. -we did not find a wall socket for one of the lamps in the bedroom. -the external lighting on the terrace is broken. We also wrote to you about this via email. It was very dark in the evenings. -preferably better information about when to empty the trash. The binders can be better in the kitchen or maybe you can add the info in the "flipboard"? -There were many beautiful flowers in the little street but in front of the holiday apartment everything was pulled out and brown and that did not depend on the warm weather. Maybe it would have been better not to have flowers in the flower boxes. It looked nicer, we believe. -The excursion tips in the "flipboard" were great. We felt incredibly comfortable in Matthis Skipperhuus. I have rarely seen accommodation that looks new over a long period and is equipped with everything you need without much fuss. It's great how thoughtfully the guests are considered, and the personal contacts with Mrs. Volquardsen are always very pleasant. She and her team simply know how to do it!

A great cozy house with very good and modern amenities. Everything is very clean and you find everything you need. Central location and everything is reachable on foot in a few minutes. The only downside was that we had no access to the garden house in the courtyard to get to a grill or possibly a vacuum cleaner or broom. It would have been nice if the dogs were with us. We got a broom since the house was locked and unfortunately we couldn't get in. It must have certainly been a misunderstanding, and therefore I do not evaluate it that way. Everything, as already mentioned, is highly recommended and a problem-free arrival and departure is ensured. The beds are modern and like everything else, new and very comfortable. We will definitely come back.

We had a dreamlike week in the vacation apartment. Especially our parents (both around 80) particularly enjoyed it. The only downside was that the steep stairs to the bedrooms were a challenge. Due to the weather, we were able to enjoy the surroundings and the sea every day. A washing machine would be advisable for a longer stay; otherwise, everything was available and in top condition. Just the 'reception' with 2 Prosecco bottles is impressive. Everything else (equipment, location, cleanliness, etc.) did not disappoint us either. The lovely holiday home is very modern, lovingly and tastefully furnished. We felt completely at home from the first minute. The kitchen equipment is professional; we missed nothing. The Skipperhaus is located in a quiet side street (old town), and after a few hundred meters, you reach the Husum shopping street with great shops and the harbor with many restaurants. The sights, such as the castle, the Ostenfelder farmhouse, or the interesting museums (North Sea/shipping), are also just a few minutes' walk away. We were able to leave the car in the free parking lot about 200 meters away during our short vacation. If we come to the area again, we will definitely book the Skipperhus again!

We were in the house from 05-19.08. From the beginning, we felt comfortable. Everything you need is there. The hot water and heating worked great. The house is very conveniently located to reach everything in the city on foot. The terrace invites you to linger, and the neighbors are nice. 1. Shower could not maintain a consistent water temperature
2. For the first two days, I could not be on the living room couch due to itchy, watery eyes and swallowing difficulties. I am usually only allergic to pet hair with a high hair load! There were some pillows, blankets, etc. .... Possibly not all had been changed. Allergy sufferers: beware!

One opens the front door and feels at home. Very nicely furnished and everything one needs is there. And a small welcome greeting. The stairs are steep, but well-lit and manageable with the handrail, etc. We were initially surprised by the 'washing machine noises' of the ventilation, but you don't need that very often, and it's a bit loud almost everywhere. It was a bit disturbing while showering that the temperature always fluctuated between hot and cold, but possibly. Did we need to adjust something on the gas boiler? But that's really "whining at a high level," because the pilot house is truly wonderfully cozy and just a few steps to the harbor or the city center. You can also get fresh air on the terrace and chat with the nice neighbor on the left. We had a wonderful vacation and would come back - our furry friends too.

The Skipperhus is really a very nice apartment and the location is unbeatable. You can reach the town in a few minutes on foot and yet it is quiet in the apartment itself. We had a problem with the heating and the landlord took care of everything immediately - really great. The living room is cozy with a great sofa to relax on. The staircase is indeed very steep, and the terrace could be a bit nicer but you can sit well and dry, which is great. I am happy to recommend the apartment to others.

Mathis Fischerhuus is a nice, small holiday home in the old town. From the outside, it has the charm of an old house, inside it is rustic and comfortably furnished. The bedrooms upstairs are bright and friendly, the beds are equipped with good mattresses, so you like to go to the land of dreams after an eventful day in the evening. However, you should know that the bedrooms are reached via a rather steep staircase (potentially difficult for small children and people with restrictions) and that the bathroom with shower/toilet is on the ground floor. The kitchen is equipped with everything essential (however, the wall cabinets are hung very high... I am 1.72m tall and had to stretch quite a bit to reach the plates and cups). Maybe a small step could be a solution. The living room is cozy with a large L-shaped sofa. A large TV is on the wall, and if you want to skip the TV, there are even a few board games. The maritime ambiance is rounded off with beautiful decoration and lanterns. There is also a covered courtyard with seating and a shed for storing bicycles. The central location to the harbor, old town, and market square, Husum Castle, the Christmas and Storm House, are just around the corner... Everything is easily accessible on foot! But I still have two suggestions for improvement: Please provide a current plan for collecting trash, a plan for TV channels, and not just a dustpan and hand brush, a broom for indoor areas would be great too... as you want to leave the house clean. All in all, Fischerhuus is a beautiful accommodation. I liked it!

A great cosy house with very good and modern equipment. Everything is very clean and you will find everything you need. Central location and everything is within walking distance. The only drawback was that we had no access to the garden house in the courtyard to get a barbecue or a hoover or broom. If the dogs were with us, that would have been nice. We got a broom because the house was locked and we couldn't get in. I'm sure it was provided for and that's why I don't rate it that way now. The rooms are clean and comfortable and the rooms are clean and comfortable. The beds are like everything else modern and as good as new and also very comfortable. We will definitely be back.

Mathis Fischerhuus is a nice little holiday home in the old town. From the outside it has the charm of an old house, inside it is quaint and cosily furnished. The bedrooms on the upper floor are bright and friendly, the beds are equipped with good mattresses, so that after an eventful day, one likes to go to the land of dreams in the evening. It is important to know, however, that the bedrooms can be reached via a rather steep staircase (which may be difficult for small children and people with disabilities) and that the bathroom with shower/WC is on the ground floor. The kitchen is equipped with all the essentials (however, the wall cupboards are hung very high....bin 1.72m and had to stretch quite a bit to reach the plates and cups). Maybe a small step would be a solution. The living room is cosy with a large L-shaped sofa. There is a large TV on the wall and if you want to skip the TV, there are even a few board games. The maritime ambience is rounded off with beautiful decorations and lanterns. There is also a covered courtyard with seating and a shed for storing bicycles. The central location to the harbour, the old town and the market place, Husum Castle, the Christmas and Storm House are virtually "around the corner"... Everything is within easy walking distance! however, I do have 2 suggestions for improvement: please have an up-to-date plan for collecting the rubbish bins, a plan for TV channels, and please not only a shovel and hand brush, but also a broom for the interior rooms would be great...as you would like to leave the house swept clean again. All in all, the Fischerhuus is a nice place to stay. I liked it very much!

Very nice, quiet apartment and yet directly located to the beautiful old town. Modern furnishings in a rustic ambience with everything you need. There are many things to do in Husum and you can get around by bike, train (when there is no strike) and boat without a car. We really enjoyed the peace, space and countryside/people and were able to slow down from everyday life. We received an answer to all our questions in advance very quickly and also had a contact person immediately in case of problems on site (power failure due to construction site). Very good all-round support! Thank you very much. We will be happy to come back.

We spent a wonderful holiday in this very cosy house, equipped with all comforts. Due to the central location, you can reach the inner and outer harbour and all the central points in just a few minutes - absolutely recommendable.

We felt very comfortable in Matthias Huus. The bakery, restaurants and other shops are within walking distance. The small street lives up to its name: we could park the car here briefly for loading and unloading. But the free car park at the harbour was also within 5 min walking distance. Our tip: Day trip with the ferry from Nordstrand to Amrum. Here you can explore the whole beautiful island by bus (€13 day ticket) and on foot.
