Description
The name "South Beach Nest" is no coincidence, as we are only about 200 metres from the sandy beach (see location). Not in the mood for beach life? Stay on our spacious south-facing balcony (approx. 5.5 x 1.5 metres) with its beach chair, table and armchairs.
On approx. 43 square metres we offer a cosy living room with two relaxing armchairs, TV, WLAN, sofa (which can also serve as a comfortable sofa bed), dining table (extendable), a small bedroom with two single beds and bedside table, bathroom with shower and hairdryer, hallway with wardrobe and other storage facilities.
The small kitchen has a 4-burner hob with ceramic hob and oven, coffee machine and kettle and of course all the necessary kitchen utensils. So you can start the day with a cosy breakfast and a view of the dune...
Please note: The flat is a non-smoking area, pets are not allowed. If required, a washing machine and tumble dryer are available in the basement for a fee.
Enjoy the fresh sea breeze on the beach, stroll through the nearby green forests on beautifully laid out paths, go on long bike rides (several bike hire shops are close to the flat), for example to Ostland or the nature reserves, or explore the picturesque streets of the island.
Our daily highlight is a relaxing walk along the beautifully landscaped beach promenade, which takes you to the music pavilion, various restaurants and the centre of Borkum with all its attractions in about 15 to 20 minutes.
The Südstrandnest-Borkum holiday flat is the perfect place for a relaxing holiday. With its cosy atmosphere and beautiful surroundings, it will be your home away from home.

Location and surroundings of object
On Borkum on the North Sea, a picturesque island oasis. Walk just 200 metres and you are on the south beach with its many beach chairs and typical island beach tents. During the season, you will also find attractive (beach) catering here with typical offerings including delicious sundowners, an almost Caribbean pleasure at sunset...
Our location is also an excellent starting point for long walks through the "Greune Stee", a natural forest area with well-maintained paths where you can find peace and relaxation.
If it's too stormy for you on the beautiful beach promenade along the waterline, take a walk through the quiet streets of Borkum and discover not only shops, but also, for example, the interesting local history museum next to the "old lighthouse", the recently opened water tower with modern media information about water on the island (you'll be amazed!)

Great location and excellent facilities
We were guests in the lovingly furnished vacation apartment for a week. Everything was very harmonious, and the contact with the landlord beforehand was warm, including great information about the surroundings and the island. We would book the apartment again immediately! :-)
