Absolutely great place, location, and landlord!!!
The booking process went smoothly, and upon our arrival in a very quiet area, we were warmly welcomed by the landlord and shown through a clean and cozy house. To greet us, there was a bottle of wine and a basket of treats on the table! Everything we needed was there, even two headlamps, umbrellas, a clothes drying rack, and clothespins! There was also an exercise bike, a foosball table, many books, and games of all kinds! And all of this in a large winter garden! We didn't need to use the fireplace; instead, we had a lot of comfort from the air conditioning! Our bed was good; the grandchildren found it a bit too hard, but that's a matter of taste! In our opinion, there could have been a couple more towels available! If we had questions, we could always quickly consult and get help from the landlords! Nothing was too much trouble for them, and the contact was always very warm, but by no means intrusive! The garden was somewhat neglected, but we still enjoyed it very much, especially because of the butterflies, birds, and squirrels! And the view was really beautiful! Luckily, we had nice weather and could often sit outside while eating and grilling. A public pool with reasonable prices was within walking distance. Charming towns like Hameln, the rat-catcher village, Polle with Cinderella and the Wesertal castle ruins, as well as Bodenwerder with the Münchhausen Museum, are located on the German Fairy Tale Route and are particularly worth seeing due to their wonderful location on the Weser! Also, Goslar (stave church) and Hildesheim with half-timbered houses are very beautiful. To conclude, we had a good meal at the cozy restaurant Leinemahl. All in all, we had a great time in and around Chalet Bellevue in Hohenbüchen, also thanks to Lilian and Jürgen, who made sure we lacked for nothing! We can highly recommend Chalet Bellevue!!!

Welcome to our "Chalet Bellevue", your green biotope high above the valley. Opened for the autumn/winter season 2023 after extensive renovation/refurbishment and complete and high-quality new furnishings in summer 2023. This "Chalet Bellevue" fulfils your high expectations. In this fully equipped house in the middle of a park-like garden of approx. 1,500 sqm, which is exclusively at your disposal, with a distant view of up to 30 kilometres, you can switch off from work and stress for 3-6 months. From the covered south-west-facing balcony or one of the three terraces you can see far into the valley. Behind the house, a gate leads directly into the neighbouring forest and to the famous Ith-Hils hiking trail. The single-storey wooden bungalow was built in the mid-sixties and has been considerably extended over the years. In 2018, the 3 rooms were joined by a spacious conservatory, which is also suitable for meetings and conferences. The modern fitted kitchen is fully equipped with all small and large conveniences. In addition to the central heating, there is a cosy wood-burning stove and the spacious living room can also be tempered as desired via air conditioning. The spacious kitchen also serves as a dining room - cooking and eating with a view of the valley! In addition to the generously proportioned living room with floor-to-ceiling panoramic windows, there are two fully furnished new bedrooms, each with a king-size bed (200x180cm) and practical and spacious built-in wardrobes. On the property there are 2 car parking spaces at no extra cost, a spacious, lockable and illuminated shed for your bicycles or motorbikes and a garden shed with a terrace right next to the forest. A pond with many water lilies splashes in front of the cottage, surrounded by a lush biotope of various plants, flowers, shrubs, fruit, nut and ornamental trees. This romantic and inspiring retreat is part of a tranquil holiday area whose peaceful character attracts appropriate residents. It is expressly not a party location.
