An extraordinary property with an equally extraordinary landlord! He is very accommodating and is often present in person and available at any time. The apartment itself is, to put it briefly, exactly as the pictures on the web show. It is lovingly furnished, and the view of the harbor from the "lookout," the middle room with a strategically positioned sofa, is wonderful. In suitable weather, we gladly had our first morning coffee down in the beach chair and enjoyed the first rays of the day. For the three of us, the layout of the generously sized apartment in the building from 1797 was simply ideal. The beds are very comfortable and pleasantly large. We really felt at home amidst the beautiful antiques with a small, state-of-the-art kitchenette. We quickly warmed up to the friendly residents of Tönning with a chat or two and started small excursions from here across the Eider Peninsula. Conclusion: We are already planning a "repeat performance"!
