Description
Since July 2023 we are the happy owners of this beautiful house "type Albatros" in the holiday park "Strandslag" in Julianadorp aan Zee", only about 250 m from the dunes and 500 m from the beautiful North Sea beach. It is quietly situated on the edge of the park on a 312 m² plot with a wind-protected south-facing terrace and is surrounded by a fully fenced, well-kept garden.
The detached cottage has been renovated by us and stylishly and cosily furnished to our taste, so that our guests can immediately feel at home.
On the ground floor you will find the hallway with cloakroom, the large living room with gallery, two comfortable leather sofas, flat screen TV (7 German channels, Netflix with your own account), DVD player, free WiFi as well as board games and books, the open kitchen with gas hob, dishwasher, oven, microwave, toaster, kettle, hand blender, wok, coffee machine, a large fridge-freezer and a dining table for 6 people. There is also a bathroom with shower and a separate WC. The storeroom with outside door has a washing machine, tumble dryer, foldable handcart, hoover, ironing board, iron, travel cot (60 cm x 120 cm), bobby car and two different high chairs.
The two bedrooms are located on the upper floor. One has a double bed (180 cm x 200 cm, two mattresses), a small desk, wardrobe and flat-screen TV. From here you have a very small view of the dunes. The other room has a cute bus bunk bed (90 cm x 200 cm), a bed (80 cm x 200 cm) that pulls out into a double bed (160 cm x 200 cm), wardrobe and toys.
In addition to the blackout curtains, both bedrooms have additional blackout blinds with heat protection.
The entire house, including the bathrooms, has been fitted with new vinyl flooring.
The property also has two car parking spaces, a parasol, patio furniture (from approx. March to October) and a charcoal barbecue.
Our little guests can look forward to a great playhouse in the garden.
The holiday park also offers a super nice playground with a swimming lake, an additional toddler's playground, a kettcar and bike hire, minigolf, trampolines, an animal meadow and a bowling alley.
The park restaurant also offers a bread roll service as well as light meals.
Springtime transforms the region into an impressive sea of tulip blossoms, a colourful scene not to be missed. The Strandslag holiday park borders directly on such a beautiful field. You have a small view of it from one of our bedrooms!
In Julianadorp you will find the shopping centre "De Riepel" with two supermarkets (Jumbo, Deen), bakery, butcher, cheese shop, ice cream parlour, drugstore, household goods, stationery shop, fish vending cart and much more, as well as the Loopuytpark opposite with RABO Bank and ATM, Lidl, bakery, flower shop, hairdresser, cafes and snack shops.
There are numerous restaurants, such as the grill restaurant "Billy Bob" at the park, the beach restaurant "Paal 6" (open all year round), pancake house "Kruimeltje" and the pizzeria "Italia" nearby.
Beautiful cycling and hiking trails lead through the dunes. There is a subtropical swimming pool and a golf course in the immediate vicinity.
Interesting excursion destinations are Den Helder (Marinemuseum, Fort Kijkduin, Meeresaquarium, De Helderse Vallei), Landgoed Hoenderdaell in Anna Paulowna, Amsterdam, Alkmaar (cheese market), Texel (Ecomare), the picturesque village of Kolhorn, Schoorl (climbing dune) and the butterfly house (Vlindorado) in Waarland. The Ijsselmeer is also not far away and the Zuiderzee Museum in Enkhuizen is well worth a visit.

Location and surroundings of object
The holiday home is located in the holiday park, Strandslag, directly behind the dunes, approx. 500 m from the beach, about 6 km south of Den Helder. You won't find this proximity to the beach anywhere else on the North Holland coast. It is quietly situated on the edge of the park and yet close to the playground.
The shopping centre and town centre of Julianadorp are approx. 2 km away.

Cancellation terms:
After the return of the signed and fully completed rental contract, along with a down payment of 30% of the rental fee, a confirmed booking is established. The remaining payment must be made no later than 6 weeks before the start of the trip. In cases of non-timely payment, the landlord reserves the right to terminate the contract immediately without further reasons and to rent out the holiday home to someone else. The signed rental contract can only be cancelled in writing. If the tenant cancels (terminates) the contract before the start of the rental period without naming a substitute tenant who enters into the contract under the same conditions, the following prorated rents (excluding the final cleaning fee) are due as compensation, provided that re-renting is not possible: Cancellation: - up to 70 days before the start of the rental period: 30% of the rental price - up to 49 days before the start of the rental period: 50% of the rental price - up to 35 days before the start of the rental period: 70% of the rental price - up to 21 days before the start of the rental period: 90% of the rental price - otherwise (later than 21 days before the start of the rental period): 100% of the rental price.

Relaxed and restful time
My girlfriend and I felt very comfortable in the very lovingly furnished little house. The equipment was great, everything was more than sufficiently available.
We also really liked the proximity to the beach.
We can wholeheartedly recommend both the house and the nice landlords and would love to come back.

Very beautiful and well-maintained holiday home
We really enjoyed our vacation in this holiday home. The holiday home is very tastefully furnished, very clean, and equipped with everything you need (plenty of dishes and cutlery). The children's room is also exceptionally lovingly designed. Definitely a highlight for kids. The beautiful, sunny terrace also invites you to relax. We can wholeheartedly recommend this holiday home.

Relaxing vacation
We had a beautiful and relaxing vacation in this holiday home.
The house is clean and well-equipped. It is also very well-suited for a family vacation with children/grandchildren (board games, books, toys, etc.).
It is cozy and lovingly furnished.
You feel immediately at home and warmly welcomed upon entering the house.
The very nice and friendly contact with the landlord went smoothly.

Beautiful vacation
We spent 1 week in this beautiful holiday home with our grandchild and daughter. Nothing was missing there.
Especially the toys for our
2.5-year-old grandson were excellent.
Above all, he was taken with the playhouse in the garden. In the kitchen, there was everything needed for daily requirements. The beach is very nice. It was great that there was a cart for transporting the beach items. The contact with the landlords was excellent. We liked it so much that we are considering spending our vacation there again next year.

Family vacation
We spent a great week in this beautiful holiday home! You can immediately tell that this house was designed with children in mind… high chairs, travel cot, children's dishes, toys… This makes a family vacation much easier! For our older child, the highlight of the holiday home was the pedal tractor :) But otherwise, the holiday home is very well equipped and cozy and tastefully furnished… You felt comfortable right away! The location of the house is also really great! You are really close to the beach, and the playground and the park's own restaurant with roll service are not far away :)
The contact with the landlords is nice, friendly, and smooth!
Overall, a really very good choice for a vacation in North Holland!

After 25 years of holidaying in this beautiful holiday park, we finally fulfilled our dream of owning our own holiday home in summer 2023. The renovation and furnishing was done with a lot of love according to our ideas, as we regularly spend time there with our children. The house has become super cosy, as soon as we open the front door we feel at home!
