This amazing property, Villa Depollo, is located in the small village of Vinjani Donji, only 2.5 km from the town of Imotski, famous for the natural phenomena of the Red and Blue Lakes (3.5 km), a popular destination for those looking for a quiet family holiday in the hinterland, leaving mountain Biokovo between you and the coast, and yet close enough (less than 40 minutes' drive) to the most beautiful beaches of Brela and the Makarska coast.You are located 1,5 km from the nearest supermarket, 1 km from the restaurant and a bar.
Approaching the village, you will be delighted by the typical Dalmatian houses and untouched nature. However, there are many places that you can visit while enjoying the untouched nature and relaxed Mediterranean spirit, the perfect place for an unforgettable vacation. In addition, there is a wide choice of many amazing places to visit or day trips in the area, such as visiting the Red and Blue Lakes in Imotski, there are plenty of bike paths, visit Biokovo mountain and the Skywalk (1h) settled above Makarska, take a drive to Makarska and then a boat trip to the island of Brač...or you can just relax and enjoy what this amazing property has to offer, without hearing nothing but birds.
*The OUTDOOR pool is located on the lower ground floor and offers a private and heated infinity pool 14.5m x 3m with spectacular surroundings, a spacious sunbathing area covered with artificial grass and concrete paving that offers 9 deck chairs, several corners for rest, umbrellas, outdoor shower. There is a covered area with a lounge area, a flat screen TV, a few lounge chairs with beanbags and a bar.
Few steps lead you to the terrace with a covered outdoor dining area for 14 people, barbecue (wood, charcoal), room with Finnish sauna, a treadmill and some fitness equipment like yoga mats, pilates ball, some weights and more (view of the pool and terrace). There is a separate toilet with a washing machine.
Few steps from this terrace take you to the ground floor level with a covered living area near the main entrance and with a table for 4 people. Both spaces are perfect for enjoying your morning coffee or a good book. You have the opportunity to book an in-villa massage with our recommended professional masseuses who can demonstrate their therapeutic skills (extra charged), simply send us an email or ask the host upon arrival to make a schedule for you.

What is nearby: Villa Depollo nearest highway exit/entrance is Zagvozd (20km or 20min from the property) and that makes everything very convenient to reach, you are 1h drive to famous town Split with its great history and well kept Diocletian Palace (87km with the highway), 1:30h drove to Krka waterfalls (Skradin), 2:20h drive to well-known town Dubrovnik, so you have many options for exploring one of many well known Croatian localities. There is a park of nature "Biokovo" just above Makarska so this can be your day tour because the view from this mountain is awesome, you can see a lot of islands and the coast is just beautiful, so visiting the mountain Biokovo provides a unique experience. Skywalk on Biokovo Mountain is a new attraction in Nature Park near Makarska at 1228 meters above sea level, it is around 1 h drive from the villa. This lookout is designed as a prestressed reinforced concrete structure that cantilevers over a cliff overlooking the Makarska Riviera, Adriatic, islands, and open sea. A glass walkway has been laid on the primary concrete structure to provide a bird's eye view in all directions, creating a unique adrenaline experience.
You can also visit two places in Bosnia and Hercegovina that are close and worth visiting, the famous sanctuary Međugorje or the very oriental old streets of Mostar with the famous bridge, both around 1h - 1:20h drive.
