For cancellations which are made less than 4 days before check-in, you will be refunded 50% of the booking amount minus the price for the first night and the cancellation fee.

It is a remote idyllic area in the Groningen countryside. There is a train station 5 kilometres away and a bus stop 1.3 km away, but public transport is not very convenient here. A car and possibly bicycles are necessary. To eat out you don't have to go far away, less than 500 metres away you will find a small and very cosy restaurant with delicious menus. There are also excellent restaurants in the surrounding villages. For the children, there is a super cool climbing farm nearby, the seal sanctuary in Pieterburen, a small zoo and the comic book museum in the city of Groningen. You'll run out of time if you stay here for a week.

We are a family with 3 children. My husband and I were born in Groningen but have lived in the middle of the Netherlands for many years. Because we miss Groningen and love going there on holiday, we bought a holiday home in our favourite region in 2022. Because we can't be there often due to our work and because we like to show others how beautiful Groningen is, we rent our house to tourists. Come and enjoy the peace and space you find here, 15 car minutes from the city of Groningen.
