Description

Discover the TUDY holiday flat, ideally located in Ile-Tudy, in Finistère. This charming 37 square metre flat can accommodate up to 3 people. You'll love the beauty and tranquillity of the Ile-Tudy peninsula.

The TUDY flat is located in the former Hôtel les Dunes, a landmark in the early days of tourism on Ile-Tudy in the 1950s. It was built in 1957 by the grandmother of Christel, your hostess. You'll reach the flat via the flower garden, which you can also enjoy during your stay, and a staircase shared by several accommodations.

The flat has three beds, two bathrooms (one with bath and one with shower) and two toilets. The kitchen is equipped with electric hob, microwave, kettle, coffee machine and toaster. The bedroom has large, comfortable bedding. It is located on the beach side and is very quiet. In the main room, there is another bed that can accommodate a third person or be used as a bench. A hairdryer is available in the bathroom. The TUDY flat is designed for non-smokers.

You will have access to free Wi-Fi. There is also a parking space for your vehicle in the cul-de-sac next to the building.

The large sandy beach is a 3-minute walk away. L'Ile-Tudy is ideal for walking (it is on a long-distance hiking trail) and water sports. In July and August, the beach's sailing school offers water sports such as paddle, kayak, catamaran and windsurfing.

When you choose the TUDY holiday flat, you'll be enjoying a family holiday, combining the seaside with nature. Christel is always on hand to advise you on walks, ideas for outings or restaurants. Don't wait any longer and book your stay at Ile-Tudy in Finistère now.

Location and surroundings of object

Discover Ile-Tudy, a charming coastal village in Finistère, ideal for a peaceful holiday. The building's location in the middle of the peninsula means you're just a 10-minute walk from the port without the inconvenience (noise, parking problems, etc.). What's more, you can get to the main beach very quickly on foot. This is 5 km long and can take you as far as Sainte Marine, one of the neighbouring towns. Opposite the building, you can cross the road to the Pouldon cove. This is an ideal spot for anglers, but also for enjoying the sunset.

additional information:

Please note that the flat is not suitable for people with reduced mobility. Access to the shower is approximately one and a half steps high.

Arrival and departure times are indicated in the contract. The final times will be agreed between the tenant and the owner and confirmed by email.

The accommodation contains crockery, furniture, bedding, electrical appliances, etc., all clean and in good condition, as indicated in the inventory of fixtures and fittings. The inventory of fixtures and fittings is drawn up by both parties at the beginning and end of the stay and signed by both parties. These documents are the only references in the event of a dispute concerning the rented premises.
On arrival, the tenant must check the state of the property and the inventory, as well as the correct operation of the household and sanitary appliances. The installations are in working order and any complaint concerning them arising more than 24 hours after the tenant has taken possession of the premises will not be accepted. Failing this, the accommodation will be deemed to be in good condition and the inventory of fixtures and fittings will be deemed to be accurate.
The tenant must report any anomalies, missing items or damage not indicated by email within 24 hours of arrival.

The state of cleanliness of the accommodation on the tenant's arrival must be noted in the inventory. Cleaning of the premises at the end of the stay is the responsibility of the tenant, unless they have opted for the end-of-stay cleaning package. If, at the time of the inventory of fixtures at the end of the stay, it is noted that the cleaning has been carried out in a succinct manner, cleaning costs (20€ / hour) will be invoiced to the tenant (= deduction from the security deposit).
Any smell (of cigarettes or vapour) will be charged at €100 (= deduction from security deposit).

On arrival at the rental property, the customer will pay the lessor the sum of €350 as a security deposit. This is paid to cover any damage that may be caused to the rented property. Under no circumstances may this deposit be considered as an advance payment of rent. Once the inventory of fixtures has been drawn up by both parties at the end of the rental period, the deposit will be returned to the tenant, except in the case of deductions.

When the tenant leaves, the inventory and state of cleanliness will be checked by the lessor or his representative. The hirer shall be held responsible for any broken or damaged objects, for any deterioration, and for any damage that may be caused to the facilities during his stay.

The lessor shall be entitled to claim from the lessee the total value at replacement cost of any objects, furniture or equipment that are broken, cracked, chipped, stained, missing or damaged, and those that are subject to more than normal wear and tear for the duration of the rental period, the cost of cleaning any duvets that are left dirty, compensation for damage of any kind to curtains, walls, ceilings, carpets, floors, glass, windows, sofas, bedding, household appliances, stoves, etc. The lessee shall be liable for any damage caused to the facilities during the rental period.

If it is necessary to carry out any repairs, to restore the premises to their original state or to replace an item, the amount withheld from the security deposit will be supported by an invoice or any other document.
If the deposit is insufficient, the hirer undertakes to make up the difference, on the basis of documentary evidence provided by the lessor.
The return of the keys to the lessor at the end of the rental period does not imply that the lessor waives his right to compensation for rental repairs if he can prove that the damage was caused by the lessee.

The tenant shall use the rental in a peaceful manner and shall make good use of it in accordance with the intended purpose of the premises. The tenant undertakes to occupy the premises personally, in accordance with the number of persons stipulated in the contract, to live in them and to maintain them. The tenant shall ensure that the tranquillity of the neighbourhood is preserved.

The tenant undertakes to take note of the instructions in the house rules (which will be communicated to him before his stay and can be consulted in the furnished accommodation) and to respect them (no smoking or vaping indoors, no third parties allowed in the rented accommodation without prior authorisation from the lessor, no noise likely to disturb neighbours, in particular that emitted by radio, television or other equipment, no parties, etc.).

Animals are not accepted for reasons of hygiene and allergies.

The hirer is responsible for all damage and deterioration caused by him/her, as well as any loss of equipment.
The hirer undertakes to take out insurance to cover rental risks (fire, water damage, etc.) and personal injury, as well as any damage of any kind for which the hirer may be liable. The hirer declares that he/she has private liability insurance covering the holiday risk (holiday rental)

Mrs. C. Conan

I'm Christel, the daughter of former hotel and restaurant owners, and I'd be delighted to welcome you to the pretty Ile-Tudy peninsula. The small flat I'm offering for rent is in a family building that was once one of the hotels on the peninsula (built by my grandmother). An enthusiast of recycling and the circular economy, I've decorated this accommodation with refurbished furniture and second-hand objects to give it an identity. As I'm very attached to my region and its culture, I'd be delighted to take the time to advise you on visits and walking tours. I can also tell you about the restaurants I like in the region. I speak English, a little German (I'm currently studying it) and I also have a basic knowledge of Italian.
