Located in the east of the Angeln peninsula, not far from the Baltic Sea, the completely renovated holiday apartment "Strandmuschel" offers 43 m² of living space with an open-plan living area featuring an integrated kitchenette, an open-plan bedroom, and a bathroom.
From the living area, you can access the furnished terrace. It's the perfect place to spend balmy summer evenings using the electric grill.
The bedroom features a double bed (180 x 200 cm) for a restful night's sleep. The comfortable sofa bed (160 x 200 cm) in the living area provides two additional sleeping spaces.
The bathroom includes a sink, toilet, and shower. The apartment windows are equipped with insect screens and privacy blinds.
There is a shared bicycle storage room at the building, which you can use with the other units. A washing machine is also available for shared use in a separate room.
Subject to availability and for a fee, we are happy to provide a travel cot and a highchair.

Location and surroundings of object

The air and Kneipp spa resort of Gelting promises pure relaxation. The Baltic Sea with its numerous beaches is very close by. Enjoy the fine sandy beach or rent a beach chair and unwind. Water sports enthusiasts will find ideal conditions for windsurfing, kitesurfing, and stand-up paddleboarding. The Geltinger Birk nature reserve, covering 773 hectares, offers an impressive variety of reed beds, salt marshes, dunes, and forests. With a bit of luck, you might even spot the wild Konik horses. In the evening, a stroll to the harbor of Wackerballig is worthwhile, where a breathtaking sunset awaits. In Gelting, you'll find everything you need for daily life. Further shopping opportunities and excursion destinations can be found in Kappeln, about 10 kilometers away. This charming harbor town invites you to stroll, linger, and take a boat trip on the Schlei River.

A great holiday apartment, highly recommended without reservation! As good as new, clean, tastefully furnished, nice location. Everything just as described, really beautiful. Bakeries, restaurants (Greek opposite, Italian 300m, ice cream shop opposite) are easily reachable on foot. The beach (near the campsite) is about 2 km away. We drove 6 minutes by car to Pottloch to the dog beach. Dreamy! Wide sandy beach and plenty of space. The booking, arrival, and departure were all very well organized. A question from our side upon arrival was answered promptly. Everything was great, we will be very happy to come back!

Modern apartment with good amenities, located on a main road with a lot of traffic, very beautiful area with a natural beach, great cycling tours can be made, we particularly enjoyed the Geltinger Birk nature reserve, baker, butcher, and shopping facilities on site.
