Location and surroundings of object

The Marina Wendtorf holiday resort is located directly at the entrance to the Kiel Fjord in the beautiful Probstei region. Beaches for families, dog owners and individualists are within easy walking distance.
Right on your doorstep and in the surrounding area, you will find opportunities for relaxing hikes and bike rides.
The bright beach with its blue-green, gently sloping water invites children to play, dig and splash around. Swimmers can jump straight into the refreshing water from the pier.
During the high season, the beach has a lifeguard service, beach club, water sports school and public toilets, as well as a brand new playground.
The Probstei offers many activities for young and old, those seeking peace and quiet and those seeking action.

In the marina, protected behind the dyke, our holiday homes are located on a quiet street where children can still play. The balcony of our houses offers a wonderful view of the marina. In summer, white sailboats moor here, and in winter, migratory birds rest on the lagoon. In every season, you can watch the big ships sailing in and out of the Kiel Fjord. In summer, the cruise ships awaken a longing for distant shores.

We arrived with a certain skepticism, as there were already some quite bad reviews for these apartments. I can’t understand that at all. The vacation apartment was one side of a small duplex. Downstairs there were 2 bedrooms and a bathroom with a shower and even a sauna. On the first floor, a large room, living area, and very spacious kitchen. The kitchen really had everything you need for eating and cooking, plus a large dining table. From the oven to the freezer, all small appliances, everything is there and in very good condition. Check-in went smoothly via a key box, as did check-out. Everything was clean, and we really felt comfortable in this apartment. The surroundings are beautiful; you can reach the water in 5 minutes on foot. It was very quiet in early May, and there were still many available apartments.
