This charming "Freigeist" vacation apartment offers nearly 75 m² of space—plenty of room for your whole family to enjoy a North Sea holiday. It is idyllically situated in Emmelsbüll, near Dagebüll, the gateway to the North Frisian Islands. From Dagebüll, you can easily reach the islands of Amrum and Föhr. Alternatively, you can take the train from Niebüll to Sylt. From this base, you can explore the North Sea coast at your leisure.

You can get comfortable in the spacious, light-filled living room. The open-plan kitchen is modern and fully equipped, making it a wonderful place to cook together. The bedrooms are tastefully furnished to a high standard: one features a double bed (180 x 200 cm), while the other two each have a single bed with a pull-out trundle. The sofa bed in the cozy living room provides additional sleeping space for two people. The bright, stylish bathroom is equipped with a shower.

You can spend delightful hours in the fresh North Sea air on the adjoining sun terrace, which opens onto a shared garden. An electric grill is available for sociable barbecue evenings.

A small village shop is located right in the village and is easily accessible on foot. A dedicated parking space is available in front of the house, and you can safely store any bicycles you bring with you in a lockable bike garage.

Location and surroundings of object

The North Frisian Wadden Sea and the Südwesthörn swimming area await you just 3 km from Emmelsbüll. Dagebüll is also very close by (approx. 12 km) and serves as the perfect starting point for excursions in the region; from there, you can reach the ferries to the North Sea islands of Amrum and Föhr in just a few minutes by car. The area's numerous dikes offer ideal conditions for long bicycle rides, and you will conveniently find a bike rental shop right in the village. From the nearby harbor in Schlüttsiel (approx. 8 km), you can easily take a boat to the Halligen islands of Hooge and Langeneß. Emmelsbüll is also ideally situated for a day trip to Sylt: from neighboring Klanxbüll (approx. 6 km), you can take the train directly to Westerland in just about 30 minutes.

We used the apartment as a starting point to explore the islands of Sylt, Amrum, and Föhr. The location is ideal for that. Otherwise, it is quite a lonely area. Nothing works here without a car. If you don’t like that, this is not the place for you. The apartment is equipped with everything necessary that we needed for the vacation. A maximum of 5 people can fit here. The 6th would have to sleep on the couch in the living room. That is not a solution for us.

Modern apartment, very well equipped. The bedrooms face the street, in front of the middle one there is a streetlight. The curtain blocks the light well. There are no shopping facilities in the village.
